Description:

For most people, December is all about Christmas. And in the Northern Hemisphere, it is also winter. Even if you don't celebrate holidays, you are probably still surrounded by them. I thought it could work as a good theme for a swap. :)

For this swap, read any book that has a Christmas theme or winter theme. You may include other holiday themes that occur from Dec 1st to Jan 10th. The book can be a classic or more recent, it could be a book made into a movie, it can be for middle grade ages or YA or adult. Heck, it can even be erotica, though I can't really image what that would be like .... If all else fails, you can always turn to "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. :)

This is very important: When you sign up for this swap, please list the title and author of the book you are going to read! If you do not do this, you will be banned from the swap - it IS a requirement. If you change your mind after listing the book, just say that in the comments - it's fine. But you MUST list the title and author of the book.

Between Dec 1st and Dec 31st, read the book - or listen to the audio version. After you have finished reading or listening to the book, write your partner a short letter about the book. (Handwritten or typed - any type of paper is fine.)
Include the following

Title and author of the book you read

Summary of the book (can be from the back of the book, Amazon, Barnes & noble, etc ... or your own)

Your thoughts about the book. Was this the first time you read the book? Why did you choose it? Have you read others by the author? If the book isn't obviously winter/Christmas, etc. themed, how does it fit into the category? Is this a re-read, or the first time you've read the book?

If the book has been made into a movie, have you seen the movie? If so, what did you think?

You can package your letter in any way you'd like, be as decorative or as plain as you wish. And, if you'd like to share more than one title, that is fine too. :)

The send by date will be AFTER the new year, so you'll have something to look forward to, and give yourself a little more time to get it done and sent out on time.

As with all of my swaps, I will angel for a flaked swap, after contact has been made and a rating of 1 is given, but if you flake on one of my swaps, you are out of my groups and any swap I host. Mistakes happen, but let's be accountable. OK? :)

If you have ANY questions PLEASE send me a PM and ask!

And please, remember to list the title and author of your book below. :)

I will for sure read "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, but I"m going to try to find some additional alternatives as well.
