You decide on the size, the materials, the colours...but bear in mind to make something you'd love receiving, OK? It's up to you to decide what to use to make the heart. Use your imagination, and aim for hearts, as I said before!

Hey, everybody! I've been having some very disappointing surprises, and so I decided to change my swaps' requirements, as I don't want "my" swapers to be unhappy, as I am. I am sorry but I am backing out. I just really like my heart and I tried tom make another the same but it didn't come out nearly as nice!

I do want to take a moment and say that this has been the most dissapointing swap bot I have participated in, I really worked hard to make sure that I got out to my partnersa really nice item. I sent one partner an ornament handmade with paperclay, hand painted and decorated with feathers, and the other partner in England a hand sewn ornament with sequins and beads. I recieved really nice feedback for the ornament, you can see it on my page, I am pretty sure that my English partner hasn't recieved it yet, it has such a long way to go...But this is what I recieved in the mail..One partner senr me an envelope with a solid red heart she advises she stamped on it, and inside the envelope there is a piece of cardstock with 2 small hand drawn solid red hearts. I was very disappointed. The second heart I recieved was a little more creative, it was a piece of corrugated cardboard cut into the shape of a four leave clover and folded to make a pocket heart. It was painted very nicely and even sent with instructions on how to use it. This swap partner I will leave feedback for, at least you can see that she put some effort into her work and what she sent out. But I am not into leaving bad feedback, so what should I do?? I am telling you and venting on you folks..I am going to leave Swap bot very soon, and it is because of ppl like this that do little or nothing, I am a professional artist and sell my art all over the globe, I thought it would be nice to have collection of art from around the world as well, but this is definately not the place to do it. I wish allof you the best. Sorry I leave this swap so sour, but this is ridiculous!

I feel sorry for you, I don't know what people are thinking when they don't put effort into their swaps .It is plain they just don't have a giving heart only a receiving one. Bev

I would like to leave a comment for some people that are not happy with some trades that they receive. Please bear in mind that not all people in the swaps are "professional artists". Many of the people I have encountered are just joining to have fun, and send and receive things from many places in the world. Please keep this in mind when you "judge" your free items from the people who send them to you. I have joined many swaps here, and must admit that I have not always felt that I received what I sent equally. But I try to look at the items from the position of the sender. You can tell when an item is not "professionally made". If it was, the person would be selling it on EBay ! But if they put some effort into it, please appreciate it for what it is. On the other hand, I have received wonderful items from Europe, Australia, the United States and all over the world that I would never have received had it not been for my joining Swap-Bot. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion. Colleen
