(Electronic Swap) Daily Boredom Buster #1

What are you currently worried about?

I am currently worried about (but at the same time, trying not to worry because I know that solves nothing) but what I am worried about is that my son is facing being totally homeless within the next two weeks or so.

He can stay with me for 14 days (out of the year) but that's it and other than that, he truly doesn't have anywhere to go. There are no men's shelters in our town and the one they do have that's about 30 miles from here is open from something like 6 p.m. - 8 a.m. AND is only equipped to serve 14 men per night.

This is in a city that is like 5 times the size of our town and without a doubt, I know that there would be many more homeless men than the 14 they have accommodations for and I worry because I don't know how he could live outside in the freezing cold (we're in NW Pennsylvania where winters are not very nice at all.)

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORRIED ABOUT?

For me. its generally.my health -without going into lots of detail, it seems when I go to the doctor to deal with one thing, they find another. I would like to get one thing resolved before another is added to my plate.

Pretty much when I'll get out of my stressful and dangerous situations and when I'll reconcile with some people that were "taken away" from me. I'm mostly worried how long it's going to take. I'm also worried about the game project I got "laid off" from last September, because the release date of that game is coming soon on Steam, and I don't know how I'm going to handle the complicated situations of dealing with my two-faced ex-"friend" who laid me off, and he faking so many things... and I don't know how I'm gonna handle seeing people play the game I worked so hard on when I don't want them to, and [insert a lot more detail here for this super screwed up situation].

I do have worries about how I am able to afford various huge fees about something else and how long it takes for my life to get in order. Also worried about what some people might think and feel about me. And that I may not always have good days due to current issues.

I don't have much to worry about. I trust in God to supply my needs.

@btbeth - I hope that your doctor or doctors will soon be able to get things straightened around so that you're feeling better and that nothing new comes up. It's frustrating when it seems never ending, I know. 💕

@kiyasu - Awe Kiyasu, I'm so sorry that this has happened to you and pray that it will all work out in your favor in the end. And to have a friend turn their back on you, I've been through that before and if you're like me, there was a lot of hurt that I felt because of it.

@rplongbeach - Yes! That is why when I posted above that I worry (but I try not to and that is the reason I said that.) I know we're not supposed to worry but sometimes it's so hard not to. And do I believe that God can solve the problem? Absolutely!

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORRIED ABOUT?

At the moment there isn't something that I am worried about. I know that I should try to worry less about things, but we are all just human and there will always be something that we worry about. I know that we should give our problems over to God, but I know that He knows that we are only human and that we tend to break our heads with things that we should leave to Him.

What are you currently worried about?

I am a worrier so I currently have plenty of worries on the go. But one of them is my situation at work. You should know that I can be a bit of people pleaser.

I am in between changing jobs. I have resigned and my last day is 2nd February. But only few people know because my manager and director are trying to make me stay. So they want me to come up with what can they do/change so I will stay. Now I hate changing jobs but there are things that have happened in my current job that have made me look for a new one. I like my current job but I think it's time to move on.

The new job has not sent an official job offer due to a delay in getting a reference from my previous employer. They sent the reference to me but HR won't accept it as they want to request it themselves.

So I am in a bit of a weird situation where I do not know will I have end up with no job because I've resigned and the new job have now said they can't sent a job offer yet. Oh, I don't know...I'm just confusing myself by writing this...and probably everyone else.

I just rated all my partners except one that apparently doesn't have a comment posted here yet. :O

@kiyasu - From now on I plan on writing in the swap description that once a person signs up for the swap, they must leave a comment BEFORE partners as assigned ... for now since I don't believe I had that in the swap details, unfortunately you'll have to wait until your partner leaves a comment or until January 22nd which would be when you could rate her even if she hasn't posted a comment.

This is the first time I remember doing swaps like these and I'm thinking that I should have been a bit more prepared before I hosted it. (It's my fault and I apologize!)

I'm currently worried about my parents.
Mom is 24/7 oxygen user. Dad is when he needs it. Both have been smokers since age 15 and 17. Both have copd bad. Lately they have been having issues with breathing while using the oxygen. I'm afraid of losing them from there bad habit.

@bluecrayons - I'm so sorry to hear that. I am a smoker too and have COPD but thankfully it is not bad. I've been cutting down on how much I smoke and hope to eventually quit. I'll be praying for them and for you as well. (HUGS)
