Snailmailover is hosting an US one and she kindly let me host an international version of this swap (snailmailover thanks freckleface in her swap so I thank her too :)). I will just add a new simple rule to it. Do you enjoy not spending too much but still, have your mailbox full of colourful, nice, fun mail? Then join! :) You'll have FIVE partners and you will send to each of them a regular sized envelope with a regular stamp on it. Use the cheapest stamp you can afford, just try to choose the mailing option that will be cheap enough but will not take ages to arrive. Each country has its mailing costs so I leave this up to your own choice. Inside the envelope you can put anything you want, just surprise your partners and...be surprised! You can send a personalized letter, stickers, ribbons, scrapbooking supplies, teabags, any flat food (according to likes and dislikes and allergies), bracelets, charms, keyrings, memosheets, bookmarks...ANYTHING you want! :) My personal touch: to really brighten eachothers' day let's DECORATE the envelope too. Isn't it great to find a colourful, shiny, cute envelope in your mailbox instead of a plain white one? :) Newbies welcome with a filled out profile, I will be checking and ban suspicious flakers. For the others, a 4.9 rating minimum is required. Feel free to PM me with any question!

I would consider joining this one if it didn't have to be sent by Priority Mail.

Actually, I see that you are not in the US so perhaps this is just a difference of language from one country to another. In the US, priority mail costs a minimum of $4.95 within the US and $12.95 international. First class costs a minimum of $0.44 US and $0.98 international. Is First Class OK for this swap?

This is a great idea for a swap but unfortunately priority mail isn't in my budget. I'm in Australia & Priority/Express Mail costs $12.75 for each envelope internationally so this swap would cost me $63.75 just in postage costs and not including the swap. Is it possible to change this to just normal regular airmail as then it's only $2.10 from Australia and much more affordable for swappers as 5 partners is alot for international postage.

This swap sounds quite interesting and alot of fun, have to agree with the previous comments though, won't be signing up as a result of the postage costs, all of the international swaps I have done previously have cost me considerably less than that for postage. I personally would be quite happy with regular air mail. (it only takes about 10 days to/from most places in my experience)

I am sorry swappers, it is only a language mistake I made...I am italian and in Italy "priority mail" is more or less first class mail, but actually we only have it as an option. it is extremely cheap that is why I wrote it: I wanted to be cheap! I am going to change the swap description and so, feel free to join now! :)
