I've been letting this swap sit in my head ever since I joined Swap-Bot and now I think its time to let it out! I am always so curious about the people around me. Theres people that I don't necessarilly know, but I do see every day. People at my local Starbucks, the guy in the parking lot that I see leaving every morning while I have my breakfast sitting on my balcony, etc. It can really be anybody, as long as you have limited interaction with them. You might know their name and thats it, or you may know where they work, but generally this should be about people that you don't know. So who are the people in your neighborhood that you see every day doing the same things? What do you want to know about them? What do you imagine about them? For this swap, write out a list presented in any way you please... make an aerogramme (fold & mail), or send a letter (handwritten only please! Yes, I'm picky!) in a decorated envelope, etc. Please send a list of 5 or more people that you see on a daily (or weekly) basis that you wonder about. Make sure you include a small description of this person, where you see them, what you see them doing, what you're doing when you see them, etc. You could even draw a picture or cartoon of these people if you're artistically inclined (or even if you're not!) This is a simple swap, however please present your list in a way that you'd also be happy to receive. No unexplained 1s or 3s, newbies welcome with a filled out profile, if you have any concerns or questions please PM me. No way, you're not a weirdo at all @kataish ... I think it's more normal to be curious about people than to pretend they're invisible. I think this is a nice swap, maybe you could follow it up in the future with a swap about trying to get to know one of these people :)

@wunderland that would be pretty neat! One of the guys I see all the time is a local at my Starbucks. He's an older gentleman and he's so nice! My husband and I see him there all the time, he is retired and must live nearby, we'll have to talk to him next time we see him there!

This is such a great idea. I just don't see five different people every day - not people I don't know. There are only five houses in the village and more horses than people. I don't suppose horses count??? I hope everyone in the swap has a great time!

This is such a great swap idea! I wish I could think of people in my neighborhood that I see often but don't know....problem for me is that I'm a social person so anyone I see often I get to know LOL but great idea!!!

@Filpot what about every week? Or just people you see while doing the same things? Hubs and I don't go to starbucks every day but every time we go, we see the same old guy there. Things like that, it doesn't necessarilly have to be daily.

I used a sketch pad to write and draw my stories. I am in a quandary as to whether I should cut the pages out or photocopy them...

@mimitabby so sorry for my delay in response. Its up to you if you want to keep the originals. If you want to, I would say that a photocopy would be fine!
