Handmade Felt Stuffie - Zoo Animals

I would love to receive a camel or polar bear, but anything will be wonderful!

I would love an elephant, giraffe or monkey :)

But I wanted a liontailed macaque!!! Hehehe. I'm really excited about these...I'm JUST getting started on stuffies, so hopefully by the send date, I'll have the technique down!

I'm gonna go with littlewanda on this one...just in a different order...I'd love a monkey, elephant, or giraffe.

Sorry, these are felt stuffies only. You can use buttons, ribbons, sequins and so on to embellish if needed.

Is there a size guideline for this swap? I don't want to make anything too small...

I really do not want to set a size minimum that swappers feel they have to stick to, as it really depends on the animal you are making. However, as a guideline only I would say a 6" minimum. This could be width or height, depending on the animal you make.

I don't know what I'd like... maybe an elephant.... or a monkey.... is a squirrel a zoo animal? I LOVE squirrels at the moment! A peacock would be nice OH or a hippo!!! I'd love a hippo! What I'd really like is a zoo animal in a colour that animal usually isn't in, like a red hippo or a pink squirrel but I'm open to suggestions! I don't know how the hell I'm going to make a zoo animal myself yet though (laughs)

Hopefully I have read your question right. Ideally, you should make one of the animals your partner has said they would like. However, if you find you have a real problem making a particular animal I am sure your partner will not mind suggesting a few more.

Oooh I like Kelli's idea of making the animal in a different colour. I'd love that too if possible. But I'll love anything I'm sent :)

I would really like a monkey! A penguin would be my second choice. If you send me some other cute little animal I will probably love it to.

I would like any animal. I like the varied colors rather than true color.

whew! just in time. I hadn't seen this swap until I saw it on someone else's profile (thanks soozy - I joined your brownie swap!!). Gah, I made a resolution to not join any swaps early in the year... oh well... five days in - bust!

anyway, any zoo animal is fine with me - I like surprises and I don't care if they are true to life (color or otherwise). My thing is hand-making something for someone else - thats where I get my joy... however corny that sounds, its true. :P
