How are you? Any big plans for Super Bowl weekend? I honestly could care less about the game, but am excited about the food.
I attempted to learn how to crochet, but never really got the hang of it. My great aunt makes the little doilies and it makes me wish I knew how to do it!!
"Band nerds for life"...I love it! I played the violin for a few years and then I passed it down to my daughter who is now 17. She also plays a little piano, guitar, and is now learning the drums. My seven year old son seems to be following her lead with the harmonica, piano, guitar, and playing around on the drums. I have seen first hand how music has really influenced their success in other academic areas. I also love how music brings people of all backgrounds together.
It is very early here in Texas and I am assigning partners for our swap! I hope that you have a wonderful day ahead of you. As for me I am going to have a quite and relaxing day doing swaps. It is warming up here almost like it was Spring yesterday... I can't wait. I love the time of year when you can open the door and the windows and it is just right.
