I'm a simple woman, with simple tastes, with lots on my mind and in my heart. I have strong opinions, and I love the underdog, being outside, road trips, Art Museums & Galleries, creating in many forms, beauty, The Sunday Washington Post, hockey, my couch (IKEA baby!) , Maine, Montana, coffee, family, friends, thunderstorms, Bengt-Ã…ke Gustafsson, tattoos, motorcycles, good parking spots, truly romantic moments, and Jack Johnson.

I believe in honesty, equality,tolerance, peace and love.

I find 'The Angry Beavers' hilarious.

I am a mom of 3. My oldest daughter, Kelsey, is 20, a full time college student, full time admissions clerk at her college and Mom to my first grandchild - 9 month old Kyra. I am so in love with her! My middle child, Kaity, is 18, and is attending college Minnesota. My youngest, my son, Zach, just turned 17. He's hoping to be accepted into the Naval Academy.

My amazingly awesome boyfriend and I have known each other for 20+ years, but only recently got together as a couple. He has 3 amazing kids, that I love like my own. He also has quite a menagerie of animals on his farm. Goats, turkeys, chickens, sheep, ducks, pigs, dogs, cats, and 2 Chincoteague Ponies.

We are huge Washington Capitals fans (NHL). Hockey is in our blood! We spend a lots of time in Washington D.C. and Arlington VA. Its only a short drive from our rural area, in the southern peninsula of Maryland.

I have more pairs of sunglasses than the average woman has shoes. I love sunglasses. Cheap, expensive, it doesn't matter.
