I'm a crafty lady who looks after her family of husband and 2 girls aged 7 and 5. I used to be a secondary teacher but haven't been in paid employment since becoming a Mum. We live in Sydney, Australia. I have started my own craft business specialising in quilling and paper beads. It's still new and in the set up phase but now that the 2 girls are at school, I'm hoping to get it revved up! I'm new to swaps and think the idea is fantastic. My other passion is food and I write a food blog journal.

I love anything crafty really but my favourites would be quilling, paper beads, crochet and scrapbooking.

My all time favourite colour is purple. I also love black and red, don't like gold much, well, to wear and prefer silver or white gold jewellery!

I'm really not in to watching televison although some of the food shows are good! We only have free to air channels on our TV which isn't even a TV but a computer my husband has set up to be a TV!

I really don't have time to read! In the past when I did, I think my favourites were Anne of Green Gables, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Trixie Belden. Hmm, might need to find some more age appropriate favourites!

Anne of Green Gables, The Sound of Music. Probably there are more so I will think about this one.

send chocolates - they will and do melt! It's not that I don't like chocolate but between airmail and Australian weather, it doesn't always get here unmelted and can then melt onto the other things in the packet!! Please also don't send perfumed things - my daughter and I are highly sensitive to perfumes.
