Hello! I am a 39 year old mother of 4. I am also a full time firefighter/Paramedic. I enjoy reading and crafts. I currently collect refrigerator magnets, book marks, patches, challenge coins, and coffee mugs. I love crosses, firefighter/EMT deco and things, horses and the color pink!! I also enjoy adult coloring books. They offer a great deal of stress relief!! Looking forward to swapping!!

While I enjoy listening to all types of music, I love classic rock and country music. My absolute favorite is Texas Country. I love Stony Larue, Wade Bowen, George Strait and Luke Bryan. I also love Journey and Bon Jovi.

Movies!! Where do I even begin. I can't really say that I have a favorite. I really do not care for Star Wars all that much and I am pretty sure that I may be the only person to ever admit that!! I REALLY enjoy the Horror/Paranormal/Thriller genre(s). I also love a good chick flick or tear jerker. I don't think there is I Nicholas Sparks movie that I don't enjoy. I love vampires, both those that feed on people, as well as those that sparkle. I am probably Harry Potter's oldest fan. In the literal sense. Hey, I'm ok with that. I love movies based on books. I am an avid reader, so I enjoy reading the book, watching the movie and then comparing and talking about parts I would have added, what I really liked, and things I would have changed.

I am an avid reader. If there is something with words sitting in front of me, I will read it. I have found, that for some reason, I can not simply start a book and not finish it. Sometimes I will start a book and it will take me a while to finish it for that reason. I may really not like it, but just can't walk away without finishing. Like movies, I enjoy horror/paranormal. I've never met a vampire that I didn't like. Steven King and I could probably be best friends. I have read anything by Nicholas Sparks that I can get my hands on and have loved them all. I also enjoy Christian and inspirational fiction, specifically the Amish. I am fascinated by that group of unique individuals. I also enjoy learning and reading about other cultures, religions, and beliefs.

Like I said previously, I am a Paramedic/Firefighter and a full time mom, so there is not a lot of time for tv. HULU and Netflix are my friends. Some television shows that I enjoy and have enjoyed are Being Human, True Blood, American Horror Story, Touched By An Angel, Family Guy, Grimm, and The Tudors. Yes, I realize most of these are off the air, or in syndication, hence the Netflix and Hulu are my friends.

I love all types of crafts. My grandmother was probably the craftiest person I know. I must not have a great imagination though because I find that I have a hard time thinking of something and designing, then making it on my own. However, I do enjoy looking at different instructions and patterns, and sometimes even things on pinterest. I am great at following instructions, even if I am not very original. I also enjoy making homemade soaps and body scrubs using essential oils and other things that most people have just laying around the house. I have also discovered that I can make my own laundry detergent and I am pretty good at it too!!
