Hello! I'm a 35-year-old lady and I live in beautiful Seattle, Washington. I have a pet rabbit and use the word "awesome" entirely too much.
I'm not on Swap-bot much these days since I'm in school, but rest assured I'm still checking messages and diligently swapping/rating when I do sign up for the odd swap.
Here are a few of my interests:
Mostly, I'm just super excited to get mail, and will be pleased with anything. 'Cause I'm easy ... like Sunday morning.
There. It's like you've known me forever, right?
I learned how to knit a few years ago, I'm slow as molasses, though. Pretty much I can knit anything as long as it's a rectangle.
I appreciate all crafty people and the DIY aesthetic, but don't have much creative ability of my own. Mad props to all of you who do!!
Mystery Science Theater 3000.
My favorite genre is documentary.
ALL OF THEM.
No, wait, that's not right. Well, here's a few that come to mind:
Favorite genres: literature, graphic novels, some science fiction, a lot of nonfiction (science, history, and sociology). I'm a book snob--I'm not proud, but I'll admit it.

Hi Seattle neighbor...I think we have a bit in common =o) I am mailing a PC off to you today but wondered if you had heard about the SCIFF's screening of Monthy Pythns Holy Grail next week? They are giving away free coconuts at the door! ...just FYI
Thank you so much for the surprise wild boar pc! It was so sweet and thoughtful of you :) it is really cute!
I just had to tell you I was reading your profile and I LOLd, I had to start reading it out loud to the Hubs, and he also LOLd...thanks for giving us a smile :)
I love love love my card! I've add it to my favorite cards album (which is a tiny folio I carry around to show people (yep, i'm nerdy.) I'm so grateful. You're the best! MK
Ps. I found a skunk skull at the complementary this weekend...now to go and bleach the bones! woot!
I am listening to Happy Birthday by New Kid's On the Block in honor of you!!!! Also because I still like listening to them and am beyond any form of help.
I visited Seattle 5 years ago briefly--saw Pike Place Market and the waterfront and ate AMAZING fish'n'chips there! I want to see it again, though, and pore over it more thoroughly. I'd love a tour guide when I get the chance! Thank you for the offer!
Your review of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell makes me more eager to read it! I'll have to pick it up soon! I know how you feel about Powell's and Voodoo Doughnut--the whole city is pretty glorious. I love walking by the Willamette and seeing all the little shops that Portland has to offer. I'm glad that I moved here, but if I lived in Seattle, I'd likely be happy, too.
I came to see your profile after you rated me for the Jackalope PC swap! My friend had me read We Have Always Lived In The Castle last year and I enjoyed it! Forgot to list that one on my own profile. Props for Good Omens. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is one I've meant to read for ages now but keep missing somehow. BOOKS! I like them. Do you ever venture down to Portland & to Powell's City of Books? I want every book-lover I know to see it--I've spent more time there since I moved here than anywhere else except my apartment, I think!
YAY! May your good mail karma quadruple, if that's possible. I love this rhino ad card. Sometimes I find other companies who use rhinos for their mascot, because they're strong I guess, like a propane gas place, a coffee co., and there's also some type of nasal medicine I think who use rhinos. They're a fun thing to collect through paper products because they're rare. I know those who collect pigs & frogs & turtles must get overrun 'cuz they're so common. Anyway, Have a good weekend & thanks again! :)
You give good postcard.
