I'm a 27 year old Emergency Room Social Worker who recently moved to Vancouver, Canada with my husband, Jeremy, and two cats, Sam and Luna, so Jeremy can work on his graduate degree at Regent College through the University of BC. I love anything to do with creating... be that writing, sewing, knitting, painting, jewelry making, photography... you name it and I'm most likely interested! I also love to travel and have visited all seven continents (Antarctica is amazing!) My husband and I also recently became the proud owners of a community garden plot, so that is where I'm spending much of my time these days. I love to be outdoors and my goal for this summer is to ride my bike whenever possible and leave the car at home. :)

Colors: I love blues, browns, greens, yellows, and oranges. I am currently somewhat obesessed with Robin Egg Blue, but really I like most colors. I'm not such a fan of purple, but always open to trying something new... When it comes to make-up I'm usually a neutral/natural type of gal.

Scents: I love the smell of rain, gardenias, vanilla, new shoes, citrus and mango. I like things that smell natural and not overly manufactured.

I'm into Jazz, Folk, Classic Rock, Oldies, R&B, Latin, almost anything in French or Spanish and what I like to refer to as "chill" music... music that's good for hanging out with friends on a sunny afternoon. Some favorite artists include: India Arie, Joss Stone, Jack Johnson, U2, The Beattles, Mark Brussard, Corrine Bailey Ray, Dixie Chicks, Nickel Creek, Joshua Minsky, Ari Hest...

I like movies that make you think. Some favorites include: Hotel Rwanda, An Inconvinient Truth, The Interpreter, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I also love a good intrigue... Ocean's 11 & 12, The Borne movies, The Italian Job

24, House, all those DIY shows, and sadly I must admit I'm a Survivor addict.

Sewing, jewelry making, cooking (does that count?), photography... this list could go on indefinitely and I LOVE to try new things!

I LOVE to read! Currently on my night stand I have "Me Talk Pretty one day", "The Littlest Prince", "The Grapes of Wrath", and "A Walk in the Woods".

My all time favorites: "Watership Down" - I truly love this book and could read it over and over!!! "Peace Like a River", "Emma's War". "The Secret Life of Bees", anything by Tolstoy, "Open Wide the Freedom Gates", Dante's Divine Comedy, and "Caring for Creation".
