Winter: "Fairy Tea"
Great for when you want a warm drink that brings in some light heartedness so that you can get through the dark, cold winter.
I make enough for a mugful at a time. About 1 cup of milk or however much will fit in the mug with room.
Add a touch of honey, or agave nectar, mix well.
Sprinkle of cinnamon (good for protection as well) and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Microwave in the mug, or put all ingrediants in a saucepan. Heat until hot, but don't let it boil.
Also great if you can't fall asleep.
Summer: Sun Brewed Tea.
I love to make this in the summer as a refreshing drink that has the energy of the Sun in it.
Get a big glass container. I like the one that has the spigot attached to it so it's less work, but whatever you have will work.
Grab about 5 tea bags, more or less depending on your tastes, you can play around after making it a few times.
Fill the jar up with water and place it outside in a sunny spot. Leave for as long as you can. I normally make this in the morning on a sunny day and let it sit for a few hours.
Bring it in, take the tea bags out and add a cup or so of lemon juice if you want lemon tea. If not you can just add ice to have unsweetened iced tea.
I like to had a cup of lemon juice and a half cup of sugar or honey, stir until it's all dissolved and pour over ice in a tall glass.
It is deeply moving to be in these 'circles' with you. I would love to learn more about your practices and how you came to be so creative.
