I am single with no kids or pets. By day I am an overworked IT admin. By night I'm a nature girl. I would rather be outdoors than anywhere else. I love collage and am happiest with a magazine, a glue stick and a pair of scissors in my hands. OK to send handmade postcards. I love seeing other people's creativity.

I like art, photography, and coffee. I practice yoga 3-4 days per week and I am still hoping to find my zen. I enjoy being outdoors walking or hiking. I have a fascination with clouds and love photographing sunsets. I enjoy art museums and sculpture gardens. My reading tastes lean towards memoirs/autobiographies/biographies, mysteries and young adult - especially young adult fantasy. I love audiobooks and podcasts. I believe in ghosts and the other side. I love podcasts about spooky/haunted places but get scared if I listen to too many. I love to travel and go on adventures and see new places and meet new people. I like to explore and take many day trips. I enjoy talking to strangers. I love movies especially offbeat, independent ones.

I love collage. Watercolor is a another favorite. I also enjoy Zentangle, tangling, zen-doodling and slow drawing (repetitive patterns). I also love kid's crafts. They are fun without the seriousness of adult crafts. I enjoy making mixed media postcards for swaps.

Oh so many movies. I LOVE movies but my all-time favorite is Jaws. I have too many favorites to list but here are a few: All of the Toy Story movies, the original Star Wars, Shawshank Redemption, Nurse Betty (because Morgan Freeman is HOT!), To Kill a Mockingbird, Slingblade, Trip to Bountiful, The Green Mile and E.T.

I am a lifelong reader. I love to read and I love listening to audio books. I don't have favorite books so much as favorite authors or genres. Some of the authors I like are Robert B. Parker (RIP) and Ace Atkins who took up the Spenser series after Parker died. I have read all of Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone series except for the last one. I love the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich because they make me laugh out loud. I LOVED the audio version of Duma Key by Stephen King. Fell in love with the character of Jerome Wireman. My favorite genre is young adult novels - especially fantasy. I love the Thomas Odd series by Dean Koontz. My favorite author of all time is Rick Bragg. I could read All Over But the Shoutin' an Ava's Man over and over again and I could listen to Rick Bragg read the phone book.
