I am retired from working at a university doing bookkeeping and other office type work. I now spend most of my time with my four grandchildren, ages 2, 3, 4 and 4 1/2.

When I have time to myself, I enjoy reading, baking, cooking and doing jigsaw puzzles. I also like to play board games.

Healthy living is a passion of mine and I like to collect recipes and find new healthier type treats to make. I love picnics, playing badminton, walking (running occasionally) and going for bicycle rides.

I also like classic artists like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Michael Buble as well as Americana music.

Since I babysit my grandchildren several days a week, I also watch a lot of kids movies, which I admit that I enjoy as well...especially all the Disney ones.

Old television shows such as Perry Mason, The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents

I also enjoy some newer ones that I've found on Netflix like Miss Fisher Mysteries, Peaky Blinders, Stranger Things, Foyle's War and Dr. Blake

I've never been a very crafty type person, but I did make a blanket for each of my grandchildren last Christmas. Even though they were very simple to make, I was quite proud of them.

And I have been thinking lately about taking up painting of some sort. I have no idea how or what, so anything to help get me started would be appreciated.
