Thanks for stopping by! I'm just really excited to have found this site! I love swapping with other people and am willing to try any type of new craft/project. Right now I'm mostly swapping postcards and I'm starting to look into making handmade ones!
As with my music, if you hand it to me I will more than likely give it a go. My favorite authors are Nick Hornby, Chuck Klosterman and Neil Gaiman.
I have also always been a fan of children's literature. One of my favorites has always been Winnie-the-Pooh...for several years in a row I would make sure I read it at least once a year.
I LOVE the Alice in Wonderland series as well. The characters, the story, I will be reading these to my children.
Neil Gaiman has some great children's books as well (Coraline, to name one).
Other favorite authors/books Wizard of Oz Shel Silverstein Laurie Notaro George R.R. Martin
Currently reading:
The craft I have been doing the longest is scrapbooking. However, lately I have been branching out a bit and trying different crafts/ideas whatever strikes me at the moment.
Currently I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE Mod Podge. I first experimented with cutting up old comic books (luckily my boyfriend had a huge stash that he was just going to give away/sell, and I asked him very sweetly if I could cut up a few them) and using them to decorate picture frame and ornaments. This has been one of my favorite projects so far.
I am ALWAYS looking for a new project. Something that I am wanting to try, is making sock animals. They looks SO cute. I gotta learn how to make this!
My favorite movies are Rain Man, High Fidelity, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Waking Ned Devine, Penelope, The Other Sister, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, just to name a few. I
*Owls (cutesy ones and especially if they're made out of fabric or something. LOVE)
*The Beatles
*Hot Air Balloons
*Animals (esp. dogs, cats, owls, turtles, frogs, penguins)
*Mod Podge
*craft paint, ribbons, brads, charms, handmade items, etc.
*Anything local from your country or hometown! I love seeing where people are from!
*I would love to learn how to do any kind of new craft, so if you have patterns, or examples that would be fun!
*I love ocean and mountain scenes! I have never been to the ocean and have only been to the mountains once.
*I currently am looking for postcards of other countries...especially from Egypt...I'm currently digging pictures of pyramids..
I really like tattoos, I only have one but it's just something that intrigues me...mine is a play on the Cheshire Cat :)
Well, originally this was my "I don't like this" part of my page, recently I have decided that I will accept whatever and I'm sure that if I don't particularly like it I can find it home! :)
I will give anything a listen....however, my favorite artists include
The Beatles (LOVE!)
Mason Jennings
Panic! At the Disco
Kate Nash
