Hi everyone! I stumbled across this site and I think is is the neatest idea! Who doesn't love getting goodies in the mail? So, a little about me. I'm married and the mom of 2 teenage girls. I'm an animal lover too - we have 2 dogs, 4 cats and a bunny. I have been crafting as long as I can remember. My current passions are sewing handbags, quilting and jewelry making. I tend to dabble in everything because I have a very short attention span - so I need to keep things interesting!

I like Country, Top 40, 80's, and Classic Rock to name a few. Some of my favorite bands/artists are Trace Adkins, Kenney Chesney, Steve Miller, Led Zepplin, old Bon Jovi, old Van Halen, Journey, Guns 'n Roses. I like the stuff I grew up with and the stuff my teenaged daughters listen to. I'll pretty much listen to anything, except hard-core rap and Thrash Metal.

I am really into the J.D. Robb "Death" series. It's set in the future and the main character is a homicide detective. They are easy reads and very entertaining. I also like the Janet Evanovich (sp?) Stephanie Plum series, and I recently started reading James Patterson. More of my favorite authors are Dean Koontz, John Saul and John Grisham.

I love movies!! All kinds of movies funny, sad, scary, I love them all. Picking a favorite is hard, but one has to be Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail. That movie is hysterical. I also love The Breakfast Club and Eddie and the Cruisers (favorites from my youth). Ghostbuters is right up there too. The Notebook and On Golden Pond make me cry every time, and I absolutely loved The Green Mile.

House, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Privqte Practice and Desperate Housewives are on my "Must see TV" list. I also love sit-coms and I wish they would put more of them on TV instead of all of the stupid reality TV! (Well, except for American Idol and SoYou Think You Can Dance!) I also like about anything on HGTV or Food Network.

I mentioned these in my About Me, but being creative is a huge part of who I am. I also like to paint, paper craft, make candles, and make handmade paper. I have recently dusted off my sewing machine and I am having a blast making handbags and other accessories. I am also a beginner quilter.

I am drawn to deep colors. I love deep reds and burgundy, greens, browns, mustard yellow - basically the colors of autumn. I have recently started quilting and the quilts I am drawn to are the more modern brightly colored styles - so in the color area, pretty much anything goes.

My house is like 2 different worlds! My kitchen, den and dining room are very country / colonial done in the colors I mentioned above. My downstairs family room is done in the red and gold colors, but in a more tropical theme. Kind of "Out of Africa".

I love cotton fabrics in fun patterns, ribbon, yarn of all kinds, pens, snowmen, angels, primitive country things, candles and tarts in spicy/fruity scents.

I am very easy to get along with - I love everything I get! The only think I ask is no very perfumey scented candles or tarts, and absolutely no Patchouli. I can't stand Patchouli!
