The Tube is great!! I have tha absolute worst sense of direction and cannot read a map for the life of me, but for whatever reason I understand the Tube perfectly. It wasn't running on Christmas and very limited runs on Boxing Day because of strikes. Both times I set out on foot or bus and inevitably got lost, haha.
London was AMAZING! I must admit that I pouted all the way back home since I wasn't ready to leave. I guess that means I just have more time to start planning my next trip. :-)
