I'm Moira, a 39 year old who grew up in upstate NY but now resides in GA.

I am a mom to three (ages 20, 17 and 14).

I’m married. My husband just retired from the Navy.

I absolutely love animals. We have 2 dogs, 6 cats, and a gerbil.

I will NEVER flake on a trade. I have had people flake on me in journal swaps and it really sucks to put in so much effort and get nothing in return. :(

Favorite Books

I am a book collector and basically have my own library of books. I like all types- physical, ebook and especially audiobooks. Lately my favorite genres are romance (the spicier, the better), thrillers and memoirs but I will read almost anything.

Favorite Television

True Crime shows of any variety, almost any show that involves first responders or medical personnel (fiction or real life), "reality tv", Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, cooking shows, etc.

I like to have stuff on as background noise while I craft.

I also enjoy "booktube" and crafty/journaling youtube videos

Favorite Crafts

I love writing in/decorating journals and especially love trading them! Mine are pretty much full of whatever I feel like adding when I sit down to work on them. :)

Writing and receiving long letters

Postcards

I love any and all postcards. Touristy or not. Weird, fun, beautiful, ugly, it doesn't matter!

Comment: Happy Holidays Moira! I received your Christmas PC today and thanks so much for it. It's really cute and I love snowmen! You mentioned every year, you order Chinese food on Christmas Eve. We here love Chinese food. But we would have to travel a long ways to get some. As we live in the country and our little town of Canton, PA. Barely has anything here. But I'm sure it's a real treat for you & your 3 children. Oh yeah, We also love watching every year "Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas and we still watch when my children plus grandkids come for Christmas. My children are 42, 41, 40, 37, and 30. My 30 year old he lives with us. Mainly because he can't afford an Apt. But he works and works a popular saw mill called "Cummings". They all over the place including China. Anyway, I wish and you and yours a wonderful Christmas and New years!

Happy for you that your daughter will be with you for Thanksgiving. We usually spend it with our daughter and her family, they are only 15 minutes away, we are very lucky to have them so close.

I was wondering where you would find a unicorn penny without any place name on it! How odd. There are penny machines in some of the weirdest places- Ben's base even has a machine on it! My favourite machines are the ones that seem to not really have much business being there.
