As for out-of-the-blue messages, I surf around and read profiles for ideas of what I want to write on mine. I was never good at filling these profile things but I want it to be sufficient enough so coordinators do not smite me. smile But some people are super creative and organized or just interesting individuals... hard not to drop off a greeting, oui oui?
