A quick note... As of January 7, 2017 I have learned that something funky is going on with our mail service. There have been a couple of swaps I have sent that were not received, and several pieces of correspondence and swaps that have not gotten to me. Stupid Post Office. So, if you're missing a swap from me, or if I haven't rated you, please contact me and let me know! Thanks!
I'm an artist living in Colorado, and I love to send mail art, and have recently gotten into swaps. I mostly prefer art related swaps, like ATC's or mail art, but I'm branching out a bit the more I get into it. I love all things art supply related...markers, paints, wash tape, and I have a huge collection of ephemera. My art work is illustration and mixed media based, so I find myself doing a lot of collage. I'm a vintage gal...I have a love of old things, and particularly interested in the 1920's-1950's. I crochet and knit, sew, bake, carve stamps, zentangle, and book bind. I like all sorts of music, from vintage jazz and swing, to bluegrass, to folk, to Americana, to alternative, to rock. I am an avid reader, and spend time outdoors hiking and camping.
I love vintage swing, jazz, and big band, early rock n' roll, alternative, and some contemporary music. It's really a weird list of favorite artists once I start putting them together. Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Slim and Slam, Artie Shaw, Lucky Millinder, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Anita O'Day, Gene Krupa, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Joe Turner, Big Maybelle, Louis Jordan, all sorts of 80's punk and new age, 90's and early 2000's alternative, Okkervil River, Mumford and Sons, bluegrass, Amanda Palmer, and so much more to list. Music is a very important part of my life.
I read more non-fiction than anything else at this point in my life, especially related to history, spirituality, and art. Some all time favorites include In The Garden of the Beasts, House of Leaves, The Alienist.
I just have streaming, and I've really gotten into many Brittish and PBS shows. Luther, Broadchurch, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Poirot, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, Masterpiece, Black Books, and so much more. Really looking forward to The Man in the High Castle. I love documentaries, including the Ken Burns series, and guilty pleasures include NCIS and Bones.
Aside from fine art, art journaling, zentangle, mail art, ATCs, knitting, crochet, sewing, photography, home decor, chalkboard art, and stamp carving.
I like so many things....and if it's vintage/antiquey, you can't go wrong. I like stickers and labels, and fun bits especially for letter writing. There's a special place in my heart for kawaii. I love handmade envelopes. I use a lot ephemera, and always have a place in my collection for more. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I do love fruity teas. I have very few dislikes, and here are the major ones: Please no heavily scented things, lotions, soaps, or other such items. I've developed severe allergies to most personal care items. Stickers are great unless they're teacher stickers that say things like "great job". I've tried using them as rewards for my husband when he does housework, but he doesn't seem to appreciate them. Blank store bought notecards.

Creative Collage tag - WOW!! This package was DEFINITELY worth the wait. Love the fortune telling fish - it totally curved, then fell off my hand (I'm either passionate, or false, lol). Love everything you sent, thank you so much!!
