I enjoy all types of arts and crafts, I am open to it all. I have tried a little of everything. From ceramics (wheel throwing and handbuilding, though I definately prefer handbuilding!), I like to draw and doodle things like invented faces, portraits, and abstracts. I paint with Acrylics mostly and I like to use acrylics with collage. How I learned about swap-bot was through a teacher who I am taking her class. Her class is loads of fun!! We make collage greeting cards out of paper that we make using techniques with watered down acrylics, stamps(some we made ourselves!), salt... and things we collect like postage stamps, pictures cut out of magazines, paper flowers and glitter dot stickers.

Another hobby that lately has become a small business is making beaded jewelry. My first experience with selling in a real store started Nov. 2012. And has been steady, though it has slowed down a bit since this summer I decided to go back to school...which is so wonderful! I am still taking time to create and I am selling in a few places still.

I am looking forward to starting to swap with the world!

One of my latest favorite books is "A Broom of One's Own", by Nancy Peacock. It's a book about the author's personal experience as both a house cleaner and an author. Very interesting, funny and an easy read. It's a small town and I have actually met her, she was very gracious.

Some of my favorite tv shows to watch are reality shows. Including shows like Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen and those silly Real Housewives shows. I also like watching QVC and HSN,

My favorite colors are greens, blues and yellows. I have a beautiful black standard poodle, named Andy. He is sweet and a goof ball! I'm currently enrolled in a community college and wanting to get my Associates of Arts. I'm going slow, taking two classes at a time. I'm in my second semester right now. I'm taking English and Math.

I don't watch alot of movies. Though I can tell you what I do not like to watch any scary or disturbing movies...absolutely no horror or psychological scary movies.

Right now I am happiest when I am working on school work, studying, creating art and spending time with friends.

I don't have any allergies. Except for beestings.

I like to collect stamps, especially beautiful ones and ones from other countries than the US.

I like beautiful papers used for collages and ATC's. Especially handmade paper that is painted on and other varieties.

Like handmade things, like jewelry, earrings, bracelets and necklaces.

I do not like large and heavy earrings. I prefer small to medium sized light earrings....i like crystals alot....no clip ons and I like french hooks the best.

I don't like the color red especially in jewelry. I don't like the color orange in jewelry though I like orange for others things such as ATC's and Crafts.

I do not like plastic or acrylic beads in jewelry either.
