Hello, I’m Annaliese. Here are some facts about me:

I’m a stay-at-home-mom,
My husband and I have three kids,
Our family includes five cats,
We live in the forest in the Adirondack Mountains,
I’m basically a hermit (but a friendly gnome-like hermit).

And now a bit about Swap-Bot:

I rate as soon as I receive my swap and hopefully my partners will do the same. Also, I will not flake on swaps; so if you do not receive something, it would be a mail issue. Please be sure to contact me before leaving negative feedback and I will do my best to fix the issue. We live in a rural area with hard winter half the year and sometimes the mail is slooooow.

Additionally, it’s unlikely I will give bad feedback if someone has put their time and money into doing a swap with me. Not everyone has the same idea about what is “good enough”; and not everyone has the same abilities, nor resources. There’s enough negativity in the world and life is hard enough. A person would have to really eff things up or be very obvious about sending crap to not receive a 5 and a heart from me. ❤️ What I can’t use I can give to someone who can.

***NOTE: I’ve had my PO Box mail forwarded to my home address during this strange time, so hopefully it will take effect soon. Just an FYI for anyone wondering about ratings. 😊

Gnomes, witchy stuff, cats, wizards, dollhouse miniatures, autumn, Halloween, “use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without”, sewing, Pippi Longstocking, Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, nature, occult, metal 🤘, forests, coffee, mushrooms, fairytales and folktales, reading, Tolkien/LOTR, tarot, art, visible mending, pagan stuff (especially Celtic, Norse/Scandinavian, etc), Scandinavian and Nordic things in general, bats, Grateful Dead, crystals, Elsa Beskow, googly eyes, reducing and reusing/zero waste, penpalling, philately, Waldorf-inspired parenting and living/learning, Edward Gorey, and bringing fun and happiness to the world at large.

My five-year-old LOVES fairies, gnomes, etc and would appreciate anything having to do with those (childlike ones, not sexy type).

Anything religious, racist, patriotic, cartoony stuff, puffy stickers, “bedazzled” type things, words (such as the ubiquitous “Live, Laugh, Love” or “Diva”), ugly witches, pop culture, steampunk, foam shapes/stickers, glitter, dog-themed, coupons, anything tv related (I haven’t owned one in over a decade), camouflage anything, and hunting or guns.

Otherwise, I’m not easily offended. Curse words welcome! ^_^

I pretty much love all colors, but my very favorites are purple, black, green, and orange (at the moment 😁). I’m not super into girly or neon, but won’t score low if you send those, of course. :)

I have an overload of vintage illustrations and other vintage (and not-vintage) ephemera and craft supplies. It would be great to renew my stash a bit, so please message me if you look over my profile and think you have some things you would like to swap!!

I’m putting together a sort of tarot card compendium for myself, so any random cards you might have lying around and aren’t using would be great! Sort of a tarot frankendeck, but for study. I still need:

My husband and I pretty much only watch terrible movies... MST3K & Rifftrax are our favorites. Last year we saw Joel and the Bots in person in Boston for my birthday! (Crooooow is my favorite. 😁)💜
