I'm a girl in her 20's who is very introverted and wants a place in her life to connect with other people and have fun without feeling overwhelmed. I am Christian, married, no kids, but we do have a cat named Misty which we got last fall. I recently finished my Bachelor of Arts in Sociocultural Anthropology and I absolutely love anything to do with other cultures and people and I love to learn new things about the world. As you may tell from the rest of my profile I am a sucker for entertainment like tv, movies, and books. I also love crafts and hobbies and will read about them endlessly even if I don't think I will ever get to try all of them. I'm Christian and church is a big part of my life, so don't be offended if I talk about it in a letter or something (I'm just trying to tell you who I am, not push my beliefs on you).

I just started this whole swapping and pen pal thing in July and I LOVE it. I'm in a few groups at livejournal.com and I love getting mail and surprises in the mail and I love sending letters and packages to people.

I LOVE fantasy books, mysteries, regular fiction, and non-fiction. I'm starting to read Manga (I've read Bleach 1-4 and Lament of the Lamb #1).

Music: Greenday, Wallflowers, Nickleback, Norah Jones, Christian music (Bebo Norman especilly, Michael W. Smith, and other artists that appear on WOW CD's). I don't listen to the radio the much, so I would love suggestions if they fit into the categories of alternative, easy listening (esp. from the 90's) and Christian.

TV Shows: Heroes, Prison Break, Smallville, One Tree Hill, Carnivale, Malcolm in the Middle, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Dexter, The Office US, Futurama, The older Simpsons,Death Note, Neon Genesis Evengelion, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Colbert Report, Family Guy and probably more I can't think of right now.

Movies: The Princess, Bride, Holes, The Hours, and Beauty and the Beast.

I am learning how to crochet and knit. I'm better at crochet though. I also like taking photos (not sure if that counts as a craft though...). I also like embroidery and cross-stitching.

• I love trees in general and leaves. And environmentally friendly things.

Lilacs. Although I do think they are pretty, the fragrance of them makes it difficult for me to breathe and if it is in anything like lotion or body wash it irritates my skin. So please no lilac products unless pictures.

If you were my swap partner sometime in the last month, please know that you WILL be receiving your letter or package and/or rating. In some cases it may be extremely late, but as happens in life I've not been well lately. I'm working on it and I'm not willing to give up on them like some people might. You will receieve something in the mail but I need energy to be able to get them out there so please be patient if you can.
