Greetings, I'm a single-by-choice mom to a beautiful, longhaired, 5 year old boy. He is in half-day HeadStart combined with some lessons after, and loving it.
After 3 months our apartment is getting that lived in feel. Starting to figure out where things go and how to keep them picked up.
http://www.squalorsurvivors.com/ is keeping me in line. Checking back into my RV this winter, I'd rate it about 4-6. My new apartment is NOT going to get bad. With illnesses, we are about a 2, 'but the closets and drawers are empty'.
I make and sell recreations of games that are at least 400 years old. toys too. things like the ancestor to chess, and the ancestor to backgammon.
I will finally set up an office/manufacturing space right across the street from our apartment.
This is my kind of humor: http://craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1097
I started drop spinning about 2 years ago and bought a Babe spinning wheel for my holiday gift. Taught myself to crochet probably 10 years ago, knitting for about 20 years, Gram tried to teach me to knit when I was a kid. didn't like it then.... The numbers sound big, but I haven't completed many projects. I seem to only play with yarn during the winter.
FO: a TV blanket for my brother. many hats, wrist warmers, and baby booties. a scarf, and a crown for my son. 2 market bags. more hats.
WIP: spinning 2 fleeces of raw Navajo-Churro wool. reclaiming sweaters for the yarn.
Colors: jewel tones, natural sheep colors Fiber: wool, silk, alpaca, fine cotton (I have enough acrylic)
Wish List:
*Great looking game boards to hang on the wall, with pieces or without
*unique fibers to spin, wool, silk, alpaca
*small fridge magnets (letters, shapes, random words, puzzles, paper dolls, games)
*large world map, USA maps, navagation charts
*easy reader science books for Carlin. How it works type books. I love dragons and historical fantasy.

Allergies: just diagnosed with Asthma. triggered by cigarette smoke, lavender and cinnamon, Febreze. Cats and dogs ok.
We would love learning about the customs and celebrations honored around the World.

Thanks for joining my swap! Merry Christmas:)
Thanks so much for the puppets. They have already provided hours of entertainment. He is starting a puppet collection :) Is there anything special that your son likes that I could send in return. No one ever tagged me in the forum, so I received but never sent. Let me know :) Thanks, Amber and Noah
Welcome hun! I saw you on a tag game and thought you might add more to your profile! Likes/dislikes, etc info about what you would like to recieve. Just not many options to work with. Happy swapping!
