CANDY

We like Candy! (my sister and I are doing this together -- I already eat too much candy, so it is better that we share!) Seriously, all is fine with us except for really minty things, anything licorice, anything with sesame seeds or super hot candies, and coconut...wow, now that I think about this, we don't like everything! huh!

However, we'd love regional specialties, if there is a regional specialty one wants to share, even if it contains ingredients listed above, feel free to send it - we're always willing to try a taste!

About Me

What about me...I am a fine artist/graphic designer. I love reading, traveling, being outside, spending time with friends and family, gardening (but I hate weeding), ice cream (making and eating), baking, mail (oh, I am obsessive about checking email and I LOVE when the mailman comes)...

I am 28, married, and we have a Portuguese Water Dog pup named Ernie.

Favorite Color

I am an artist. I really LOVE all colors. If I had to choose, I would probably say yellow. And I really am not a fan of pastels over all -- I wouldn't prefer a pale blue package, for example...but if my package were blue themed and light blue got in, that would be fine! ;)

Response: Soon2BMC, I made this yesterday for the first time (since there weren't any U recipes I had ever made, I had to send one I had never tried). I have a ton of rhubarb right now so instead of the fruit he suggested, i used 3 cups of a mixture of strawberries and rhubarb. It was AMAZING. A bit messy, but ABSOLUTELY wonderful.

Comment: Cool postcard! Interesting recipe! Where do you get shredded wheat biscuits from to make this with? I've never heard of them? :)
Response: hey thanks! shredded wheat biscuits are in the cereal isle...you've heard of frosted mini wheats, no? same thing, but without the frosting and larger...(hence the lack of the word "mini" -- *wink*) http://www.mini-wheats.com/...it looks like Kellogg's only makes the mini -- post makes the full sized: http://postcereals.com/cereals/post_shredded_wheat/ You can use the minis, i am just not sure of the conversion...
