UPDATE: 1/17/201 I am back on after moving, the holidays and company, I am ready to start swapping again! I have missed getting suprises in he mail.
UPDATE: 9/25/2014 We are moving this weekend. I have updated the address in my profile. I will return to swap-bot after the move and I get my computer up and runhning. Thank you for your patience with my feedback if something comes while I am out of pocket.
If I had my way I would be traveling the world, but as it is, I live through stories and pictures from others. I have been to a few countries, but not nearly a fraction of the places I want to go.
I have a 150 lb dog that is the sweetest dog ever! He is a rescue animal as are our two cats. The dog is 1/2 mastif and 1/2 black lab. What a great combination that turned out to be!
I am a member of the National Red Hat Society. In my local chapter I am the Countess of Notable Notes - the secretary. We are a bunch of women that dress up in Red Hats and Purple outfits and just dare old age to try to take us down. Bling - the cheaper and brighter the better for our dress up outings. Feathers are a great addition to any RED HAT. Purple trimmings for our red hats can be ribbons or flowers or lace nearly anything.
I am Christian and am amazed at the power the Lord has to work in our lives for good. This site has been a blessing to me already!
I like water - swimming, watching waves and lighthouses. Walks on beaches, sunsets and seashells.
I have lots of plants around the pool and in the house. Flowers make me smile and eating something out of the garden is great, but I must confess - I haven't figured out the growing seasons here in Florida. Just when you think you are doing great it gets hot and dry and the next thing you know all is fried.
Please let me know if you did not get a rating from me. I was flaked on a couple of ratings when I first started and did not like it at all. Just PM me and I will get on it right away. This way I can also know if something was lost and make you aware.
I try to make my "sends" nice and put in extras where possible. I read the guidelines and try to follow every detail, but if I misunderstand a swap I will make it right. Please let me know if it is not to your standards and I will see what I can do to make it right. This is supposed to be fun for all. I know I am getting addicted to it.
Let the swapping begin!!!!
UPDATE 11/7/2013 I just joined a book swap so here are some ideas for that. Below I list some authors I like but I have read all of them. Best for me would be a biography of some historical person or a sappy romance. Another idea is a mystery by an author I have not listed.
I read my books on a neat gadget called a Sansa Clip and get the audio books free on line from the library. That way I can read and get a million other things done. I read a lot of thrillers, detective and murder fictions. Favorite authors are James Patterson, Nelson Demille, John Sanford, Sue Grafton and the list goes on. I am also a sucker for a good romance. I am also into reading biographies of our founding fathers and books about disasters. Fires, plane crashes, ship sinkings, earthquakes etc. Pet stories are also good. Marley and Me struck a chord. I had a yellow lab that was just like that or worse!
My all time favorite movie was Somewhere in Time. A great love story across the time barrier. I have also enjoyed Avitar, Superman, and any sappy love story.
My husband and I love Celtic Music. We have Irish music everywhere. My husband likes Country - Garth Brooks and the like and I like Classical, and easy listening and 60's Rock and Roll.
Crochet, basic jwelery, bird house painting, wood crafts. New to me since being on Swap-bot is the Dotee making. I have only made a couple but do want to make some more soon.
Let me just warn everyone - I am craftchallenged, but I enjoy trying new things and will do the best I know how. I have learned so much on this website and gotten so many good ideas. In fact, this is where I got the idea to teach myself to crochet.
I will love everything that is sent, but if you want to know the things I would have on a wish list here goes: *Paint for Crafts *Paint Brushes *Spray Gloss or Matte Finishes for wood *Yarn for practicing Crochet *Pens and Markers of all kinds *Postcards of any kind *Magnets of any kind *Notecards of any kind *COKE and Diet Coke anything except NASCAR *Coke Santa *Coke Polar Bears *Coke Bottle Caps *The Product Codes from Cases of Coke Products *Candles - Apple, Cinnamon, Lilac Bayberry, Lavender *Craft Feathers in Red and Purple *Crochet Patterns for Dishclothes or simple projects *Stickers of all kinds - 3D are extra special *BLING - Cheap flashy rings or earrings (pierced) or necklaces - This is for Red Hatting so Fake Diamonds, Pearls, Rubys and Purple are the VERY BEST *Findings and beads for Jewlery Making *Flowers of any kind - seeds, fake, stickers etc. *Hearts in or on anything *Pictures of: Moose, Polar Bears, Pandas, Sea Otters, Manatee, Waterfalls, Lighthouses, Beaches and Seashells, Mountains, Flowers - Lilacs are favorite Aviation ANYTHING, Dark Chocolate!!!!, NO CANDY IN THE SUMMER - MUCH TOO HOT ALREADY! Angels, Crosses, Quotations, Boxes, Ornaments, Stationary and almost any office supply, Deco Tape, Gliter Anything, Reds and Purples for Red Hatting, Blues and Greens for my regular life, Hot Chocolate Scrapbook shapes cut out of different papers in any color and/or with textures.
Cartoons, Rose Scented anything, White Chocolate, Orange and Black except Halloween, Tea, Coffee Most Kawaii but the Pandas are adorable, Skulls Clowns Socks (I don't wear them) Nail Polish (I don't use it)
Even if you sent me something I don't like I will not lower your rating unless it does not meet the swap guidelines. I do some charity work and will find a good home for anything at all!
My dog's name is Cody and he is 150 lbs of love. He is half mastif and half black lab. He never learned how to play with toys, but he loves to wear bandanas (big) and eats Milk Bone (0r generic) biscuits and Snausages. He has bandanas in a lot of colors, but can always use a new and different one. He is all black so colors look good on him.
Ring in size 7 1/2 Topaz yellow or blue * Gold multi-colored stones bracelet * Coke Santa vintage 50's Christmas Ornament* Coke Polar Bear Christmas Ornament * Airplane Christmas Ornament * Any Coke Print that has a reference to flying or airplanes * Panda Deco Tape * Panda Stationary Set * Japenese Cherry Blossom Stationary Set * Maine Made Christmas Wreath or any Maine Made Products with Moose or Lighthouses or Ocean scenes* Bath and Body Works Japenese Cherry Blossom Body Splash. The lotion is now availale at Walmart* I have never seen an ATC and would love to get one to see what people are making*
I am trying to collect Post Cards from every state. The following is a list of the states I still need:
Alabama
Mississippi
Montana
New Hampshire
North Dakota
South Dakota
I prefer them sent blank in an envie, but will accept any. I am always looking for state map postcards. I have very few so any will add to my collection and get you a heart! I like post cards of all kinds - vintage and aviation are extra special. Coke postcards are another special catagory for me, but any will do.

I just mailed you a package this morning but I hope it is OK that I sent 2 swaps in one for postage reasons.
