I had a personal project to handwrite 5,000 letters, no deadline. And I wrote the last letter of that project in Dec 2019. Took me 10.5 years to complete it.
Still writing snail mail but not tracking the recipients in my agenda anymore.
I tried to write a Thank You card each day February 2020 for #InCoWriMo. It wasn't so bad. I only missed three days in total and made it up each time the next day by sending two thanks instead of one. I feel thankful for many different people.
Curious about people and places abroad. When I travel, I enjoy talking to locals, visiting museums, and people-watching in coffee shops. I read the community newspaper to see what matters to those who live there.
In our world today, a lot is happening and draining both your mental and emotional reserves. Sometimes, you forget your own achievements and the good that is happening around you.
If you aren't sure what to write to me but want to write something, here are some questions for you to pick from:
- What three things went well today?
- How are you treating your mind and body this week?
- How are you respecting your limits?
- Who or what are you grateful for this week?
- What is something you want to try but need a bit of courage to take that first step?
Focus on what matters to you.
