My Etsy Store
I am always doing a gazillion crafts at once. My craft room is overflowing with fabric, canvases, soap supplies, candle supplies, scrapbook paper, post it notes, printed patterns, etc. I think you get the picture. I hope to be able to make good use of my stash!
I'm married to an awesome dude, we have fur kids that are our lives, and may one day try a two legger, but who knows. In the meantime, we're very passionate about rescue pets, and Special Olympics (my brother participates every year).
I love bad music, bright color, and all animals. My goal is to make it to the Elephant Sanctuary and volunteer, and to India to volunteer at Animal Aid International as well.
I work an office job, so I have time to daydream and write down ideas on post it notes. My brain is constantly going. Pinterest is my crack. I look forward to seeing awesome crafts and being inspired.
I am just getting my Etsy store set up. I'm doing a couple of local craft fairs, selling soaps and candles. I also make heat packs (flax and herbs), and many things out of fabric and paper. I've linked my store above if anyone has any interest, and I humbly thank you in advance if you do!
Favorite Music: I am an unabashed BSB fan. I also love Peter Gabriel, Jethro Tull, music from the 60s, 80s, 90s, and current. I love hip hop, rap, and anything with a beat.
I'm a tomboy, but I love nailpolish. I constantly have color on my toes and hands. Gels, regular, etc. I like to play with nail stickers, dotting tools, brushes, and the like.
I love bright colors. Purples, blues, pinks. I love reds and yellows, but I can't wear them without looking super pale, so I avoid them :(
I have quite a few tattoos - I love ink, especially the bright stuff. Most of mine are custom designed and animal-related (birds, elephants, and a cat).
I am newly into CP soapmaking, and it's fast becoming an addiction. It's my evening/weekend hobby, which will hopefully generate enough income so I can support it, lol. I started because my husband is a Chimney Sweep and is quite often absolutely filthy. Regular soaps couldn't get him 100% clean, and dried his skin out, so we decided to make our own.
I love scrapbooking and quilting, though I haven't really had time to do either lately. I want to learn how to knit and crochet, and I am OBSESSED with knitted socks. Seriously so.
I also dabble in painting when I have the chance, just basic acrylics on canvas, nothing exciting or fancy.
I have all of the materials I need to do clay work as well, but haven't had a chance to get around to that, either. I have a wheel, a kiln, and clay, glazes, etc. It's my goal in the 2014 year to get into it.
I love true crime and murder mysteries. I love "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" series, and constantly re-listen to that when I'm at work (I have it on Audiobook). I love Patricia Cornwell's books - they're about forensic science. Anything about the darker side of the human psyche I find fascinating.
I recently bought the "Beautiful Creatures" series, and I also like the Twilight series as well as other young adult type novels - that's what I turn to on a stressful day to just let my brain relax a bit.
I do indeed have a book wishlist on Amazon. Link is here: http://amzn.com/w/1PA8UTMT29RXX
I love tea. I really love herbals, and my husband loves black and breakfast teas. Our current favorites are Tazo Rest (a gorgeous blend!), Earl Grey with extra bergamot, and any chamomile with honey.
I am obsessed with Horchata, and am always irrationally excited when I find it in the stores. Hot cocoa is loved as well, especially if it has any flavors mixed in. I'm a huge fan of flavor.
