I grew up in Lancaster, PA and moved to Shepherdstown, WV to attend college. While at college I met my husband and we've made WV our home. We have an eight-year-old son and a three (four in July) year old daughter. We also have three cats and a one-year-old chug (Chihuahua Pug mix).

I'm mostly a stay at home mom but end up volunteering for a variety of things that keep me very busy. I also have my own small business and sell some of my craftiness/designs online under the name Eastward Designs.

I'm a sci-fi junkie, as well as other shows. I always have the tv on in the background when I'm crafting. Buffy, Firefly, Pushing Daisies, The Office, Flight of the Conchords, Torchwood, Dr. Who, Bones, Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother, The Walking Dead..

Donnie Darko, Momento, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Serenity, Short Circuit, The Goonies, Boondock Saints, The Princess Bride...

So many crafts, too little time! I crochet, knit, sew, cross-stitch, paint, draw, make paper, graphic design, and many more!
