I've been enjoying the holidays so far, but I won't get to enjoy any snow until I go home to Pennsylvania. It hardly ever snows in Portland.
By the way, how difficult was it to get your mailer's postmark permit? I've been thinking about getting one for my home town. I don't have an easy time getting to a post office when I'm at school, so I probably wouldn't get one for Portland.
I got my PC back from the "P.S. Write Back Postcards #13" swap. Thanks so much! Unfortunately, the weather here in OR hasn't been cool at all, but I'm sure it won't be long before the rain is back again :)
That's pretty neat that you have you own stamp. I hope one of these postcard swaps, you get me. Or if you'd like, I'd love to have a postcard or 2 from SC. I'm a big post card collector, naked or in envies. I see you would like to work for USPS. I did for a few years as a clerk. That was in Cambridge (pop. 1000). We live in VERY rural Nebraska. To do any shopping like at a small mall, you have to drive 1 1/2 hours. Best shopping is in Lincoln and that's about a 4 hour drive. Denver is about 6 hours from here.
Thanks for the speedy reply for Write Back PC #9, Brett. I'm so jealous of you having your own Mailers Postmark Permit. What does it take to get one of those? They don't muss up the PCs & postage as much as the machine. Hope you're having a good week. ~Lisa
