Favorite Music

I love 60s music - Beatles especially and girl groups like The Shangri-Las, The Ronnettes, The Crystals. I like French 60s music like Francoise Hardy and France Gall. Basically I love girl vocals, and happy shiny pop music.

I really love indie pop, eg. Belle and Sebastian, Camera Obscura, Au Revoir Simone, Sondre Lerche, Jens Lekman, Pizzicato Five, The Postmarks, My Little Airport, The Morning Benders, Best Coast, Vivian Girls.

Favorite Movies

60s French films and 60s films with great fashion and mod girls.

I also adore Wes Anderson, especially The Royal Tenenbaums, and Sofia Coppola.

Favourite Edibles

I have a sweet tooth. I love trying all sorts of candy, and sweet treats - cookies, biscuits, desserts, etc!

Favorite Books

I work in a library for a living and I love to read! My favourite books are the Glass Family series by J.D Salinger.

I also read tons of magazines. The ones I buy monthly without fail are - Frankie, Nylon, VenusZine, BUST.

Comment: Love the zine! I really liked how you emphasized the connection of vintage and history. Although my historical obsessions tend to extend more into the realm of antique styles rather than vintage, I've still always had a soft spot for the latter too. :) Thanks for sending me such a swell little zine!

Hi! I was just looking at profiles and I saw yours. I love your music taste... pretty much the same as mine. I remember some months ago, on indiepoplist I think.. being a librarian is considered a somewhat twee career! Singapore is so heavenly, I went there before to watch Camera Obscura! I'm visiting again end of the month just to roam around and check out Books actually, little dröm store, etc.
ps. any Jens lekman fan is wonderful to me. (he is my absolute fave)
