I'm a married mama to a pretty cool 10 year old and a 2 yr old. I worked for a pickle factory until August, 2022, and have since become a stay-at-home-mama. I crochet a lot in my free time, and have pen pals I write to regularly. Occasionally I'll participate in Postcrossing, and have a postcard book to hopefully inspire the kids to travel.
We live in a secluded wooded area on 5 1/3 acres, and have been here almost three years. Have enjoyed some raised garden beds with lots of herbs, marigolds, tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies.
I tend to watch and listen to a lot of paranormal shows and podcasts...if you have a favorite, let me know. My favorites are The Dead Files and Darkness Prevails. I recently got my husband hooked on the Outlander series from Stars...the series based off Diana Gabaldon's book series. And I'm super excited for the next book to be released, as I've been reading the series since 2005. Dragonfly in Amber is still my favorite book of hers. Gilmore Girls is also a TV series my daughter and I rewatch often.
I also really love pit bulls... I shared life with one for 11 years. She passed in April, 2021, and I still miss her horribly. We just adopted a 3 year old male pit bull...and I’ve never met a sweeter boy in my life, he does such a great job around the kids...and if I can't find him in the living room, he's usually found in my 10 yr old's bed or in mine.
When crocheting, I tend towards the unexpected house decoration type pieces. However, the quirkier it is, the better. My favorite thing to make are F Bombs.
Major coffee drinker, especially Bustelo... please don't send tea, it won't be used quickly unless it's for an art project and I need to dye some of my cotton thread.
I do have a collection of journals I’m trying to use up, so anything journal related or inspired to use is always fun to receive. I also do have a small collection of Funko Pop figurines.
I tend to love Fall and Spring equally, as I get to enjoy the drastic change from winter to spring with all the pretty shades of green and the start of flowers and Thunderstorms! I love fall for similar reasons...the change of color in the leaves, cooler weather for bon fires...however, I’m not a fan of pumpkin spice anything!
I'm currently trying to use up my pressed flowers, create ATCs.
Dislikes... most girly things, as I just don’t use things like makeup, glittery jewelry, Disney anything, etc. If I receive anything I’m not fond of, I will pass it along to another swapper or to a pen pal who would use it. No politics or religious anything, please. I tend toward pagan beliefs and do not force it onto others.
Allergies... I am allergic to most bath items, so please refrain from sending those items, unless it’s all naturally made from sustainable resources. I do make my own face wash and body scrubs from time to time, and would love to share those “recipes” if you’d be interested in sharing them.
Thanks in advance!

I love dragonflies, gnomes, fox, red tailed hawks, raccoons, skunks, and anything ancestral related. I decorate a lot with found acorns, walnuts, pine cones, and other items found in our woodland paradise. And, yes, I'll clean bones found and use them in art projects, especially for wind-chimes or a random crochet piece...I'm one of those weirdos who live on the hedge and can be easily misunderstood, and that's okay. I've recently crocheted a pair of hands that I'll be attaching to a tree...we're tree huggers, to a point. It's mostly to make people smile at the randomness.
Diamonds: Ace through King
Clubs: Ace through 6, 10, Jack
Spades: Ace through King

Lots of odds and ends, and several decks to pull from for trading/swapping. I don't have a particular want or need for a specific backing, and am not picky either. As long as it falls within any/all swaps and their parameters, I'm happy. I just think it's so cool to see all the different types of decks out there! I do have a few jokers I can send along, and if I see you're looking for one or two, I'll pass them along.
I respect most religions...I just don't respect the person who forces their beliefs onto me. I'm always working on home protection and keeping the kids safe. Always walking barefoot whenever feasible living in Indiana and our ever changing crazy weather systems we get sometimes. I have an art space that also is occupied by my pagan books...I tend toward Celtic and Germanic beliefs and practices with being German/Irish decent, but constantly trying to learn and read from both and meshing the two together... Probably why Samhain is my favorite holiday and the original Grimm Brothers fairytales are my favorites... iykyk Pan is a favorite of mine in working with...which at times is hard since I have a hard time with lots of noise/music...so it's been an interesting journey with him. Otherwise I don't work with any deities.

May 25, 2024 Monies are extra tight for the moment, so I'll be backing way off from swapping. However, electronic swaps will definitely be considered for the time being. I'm hoping to be able to do type 2 and 3 swaps again in the next month or so. However, if it's a swap I can't say no to, I'll make it happen for partners.
