About Me

I am a 30-something girl from Perth, Western Australia. I enjoy cooking and crafting. I work full time in Banking and Finance. I have no children - and sadly no pets :(

My favourite colours are black, pink and green.

My favourite food would be a draw between Mum's lamb roast and good Lindt chocolate (yum!).

Favorite Crafts

My current favourites are quilting, knitting, softies and embroidery...by next week I'll probably be onto something else ;)

Pretty much anything crafty that I can get my hands on will keep my interest - for at least a short while!

Favorite Music

I enjoy all types of music - with maybe the exception of death metal, but prepared to consider on a song-by-song basis

Favorite Movies

Hmm, so many... The Notebook The Shawshank Redemption Suddenly 30 Devil Wears Prada Steel Magnolias

Favorite Books

Heaps and heaps!! I love love love detective / crime mysteries by writers such as James Patterson, Jeffrey Deaver, Jonathan and Faye Kellerman and Sue Grafton. I also enjoy authors such as Katharine Kerr, David Eddings and more thriller / horror type writers such as Robin Cook.

Favorite Television

Any of the CSI franchise; Bones; Antiques Roadshow; The Simpsons; Lost and love a good documentary. Some great Aussie shows such as 'Spicks and Specks', 'RocKwiz' and 'Good News Week. Also love Iron Chef (mainly for the hilarity factor) but also enjoy cookery shows.

Hmmm... general stuff ;)

Please be advised that Australia has EXTREMELY STRICT quarantine laws, so no bark, seeds, fruits, egg products etc (yes, yes, I know...) If you are unsure with an item you are planning on sending me let me know what the basic items are made of and I will check, or else you can probably Google Australian Quarantine Requirements and find AQIS (or similar website) to let you know if it is OK.

I prefer coffee to tea, Pepsi to Coke, Dark chocolate to milk. I have no allergies or food sensitivities that I am aware of, and no cultural or religious strictures to observe.

Comment: AMAZING!!!! If I could give you more than just one heart I would! You sent the most amazing package ever! Thank you so much! (none of the candy lasted long! My boys dug right in as I was opening everything. :) They say *thank you* too)
Response: Tee-hee! I'm glad that you (all) enjoyed it! I was only thinking today about messaging you to make sure it had arrived (the Australian Postal system can *sometimes* not be trusted). Sorry about the sugar overload for the kids :P

Response: No problem! I am glad that you liked them as (surprisingly!!) I had heaps of trouble finding any that weren't designed for small children :)
