I am a wise yet humble human being who loves her family, her friends, her animals and her God. I do so fiercely and unconditionally. I hope I can reflect who I am in the things I get to share with others.I joined swap-bot to meet new people and make new friends, and to learn from others.

I am very family oriented, I have been married to my hubby Charlie for 26 yrs, we have 5 Children, Kady, Kyle, Jacob, Michael, & Bridget. I even have 1 granddaughter, Kaya. We are part of a big Irish family. My husband is one of 12 siblings, and 87 grandkids(on his dads side) My in laws have 52 grandkids and 29 great grands. We all get together as often as possible. My family is much smaller, but we are just as close. My family is Italian. I grew up in a family owned and run Italian Restaurant. So I am a pretty good cook. Though with my back problems don't cook as much. I have a some health issues, and was recently deemed disabled because of my health. I have congenital Spinal Stenosis with Degenerative Arthritis. I had a spinal fusion done on my L4/L5 last year. I also suffer from COPD, Chronic Insomnia,Chronic Pain (related to my back) and Anxiety (related to my COPD) I recently discovered the world of Art Journaling. I am also teaching myself how to sketch and draw. Since becoming disabled, I feel like I have lost my sense of purpose, something that is just mine. Art Journaling fills that void. Prior to becoming disabled I was working as a Pediatric Homecare Nurse. Though it was a very stressful job, it was rewarding. I am a survivor of childhood Cancer, so I chose to work in pediatrics to give back.

When I am not running my daughter to her Irish Dance lessons or competitions, or at a field watching my son play lacrosse, I love to spend my time crafting, journaling, doodling, recycling stuff people would throw awayand turning it into something new and fun. My favorite stuff to recycle are cereal boxes, papers, magazines, cardboard, old books, etc. I homeschool my youngest daughter who is in 7th grade. I also love to read. Some of my favorite genres are fantasy, thrillers, history, and true stories. I also love movies of the same genre including period movies. I have a blog, but I have no clue how to really blog, but hopefully I will figure it all out. I'm am inept when it comes to computer speak. I recently started Art Journaling, which I find extremely enjoyable. I just wish I knew how to draw. Maybe I will get past stick figure 101 someday. So I rely on stencils and stamps to help me out. I am looking forward to learning and making new friends here on swap-bot. I will rate as soon as I receive items, and will never just rate a 1 or 3 without 1st trying to work out any issues. I am a very fair person. I hope that those I swap with will give the same curtisies. Sometimes unfortunate things beyond our control happen.

To name a few. Once, I got to meet and actually sit down and have a 30 minute conversation with Morgan Freeman. It was one of the top 5 most exciting things I have ever done in my life. (If you would like to know the other 4, you'll have to get to know me first) Mr. Freeman is as nice in person as you'd think he would be. He is also surprisingly taller than I thought, he's like 6' 3". It was AWESOME. I have also had the priviledge of getting to meet Mixed Media Artist and Blogger Donna Downey @ donnadowney.typepad.com I am sure some of you have seen her work or visited her blog. She is an amazing artist. She does Art Journaling, Mixed Media, Canvas painting. If you haven't checked her out yet, I highly recommend it.

I love music. I am a Classic Rock/70's Rock girl. I also like Alternative Rock. My favorite Classic bands are Led Zeppelin, The Band, CCR, Crosby,Still, Nash & Young, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Van Morrison,and The Allman Brothers. Alt Rock bands I like are Greenday, Linkin Park, Plain White T's, The Cranberries, Coldplay. My favorite new band is Mumford and Sons. I like to listen to classical music when I am alone in my car. Though there are a handful of songs I like, I am not a big fan of Country. I also like Celtic music, and the bagpipes.
