I'm a high school English teacher, and I'm in the getting ready for school soon mode... :(

I might not be swapping as often, but I'm still here!

I love art, and am envious of artists with true gifts. I make attempts to emulate my favorites, but know that I am not as talented as I wish. I love being creative, so I try to find outlets to express this part of myself.

I ONLY mark "sent" when I have physically either gone to the postal office in my local grocery store, or have dropped it in the mail. MYSELF. If I marked it "sent," it was sent. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you don't get my swap. I am NOT a flaker, and would hate for you not to get something I sent.

I'm also open to one-on-one trades, helping newbies, and angel-ing.

I really want to be an awesome swapper, and communication is key for that. I will make right any wrongs, but hope to avoid wrongs at all costs. I work really hard to put together swaps that I myself would LOVE LOVE LOVE, so please, when you get my item, could you please just rate me? I rate as soon as I sit down at my computer after opening my mail.

I LOVE bright colors! Yellow & purple are my top two favorites, but really, any bright vivid color is awesome!

I am a Green Bay Packer fan. I seriously bleed green and gold. :)

I am originally from WI, and my love of all things dairy and bratwurst have not left me since moving to the west coast in 2007.

I LOVE the NFL, and MLB (Go Brewers!), and enjoy college football as well. I am an athlete myself, and have played for the women's professional football team here in PDX.

My husband and I have three cats (3 came with me and he had 1 when we met, but one of mine passed in 2009), I love my cats! We are non-smokers, foodies, and like good wine and beer.

Sometimes I wish I had gills because I love the water--especially the Caribbean, and if I won the lottery, I'd for sure be beach-bumming it for the rest of my life!

I have a sense of humor and like the unique. I am super open-minded, not judgmental, and appreciate all forms of humor. I lean much more towards the left and am not religious, and prefer not to fight about religion or politics (because I'm right ;) hahaha), and would rather not have ideology thrown in my face by those who want to change me -- I am very accepting and don't try to force MY beliefs down others' throats.

I treat others the way I wish to be treated, and I don't have any intention of hurting or offending others. I am an adult however, and appreciate a good laugh--which sometimes can be from something deemed "offensive" by others.
If I do something that offends, irks, or irritates you, please let me know so I can remedy the situation (or at least defend myself).
