Young woman living in Seattle, Washington. I love painting, photography, and reading. I am only really good at the reading part. I want to travel more, but I work a lot. I am probably too into the working thing. I like to think of myself of the runner, especially if I only have to think about it and not actually... run.
I am not into super religious stuff. I'm not Christian, but I also don't really go for that in my own religion either.
I am allergic (badly) to walnuts and mold, all kinds. So if you were thinking of sending along some sort of oozing Gorgonzola, rolled in walnuts, maybe some other partner would be able to better appreciate it.
Other then that, I have no restrictions -- I joined Swap-Bot to see what other people could come up with, and so far you're all pretty amazing.
I listen to a huge range of things. This means my ipod may switch from french djs to country to classic rock, but it makes constant stops on indie music, and truly appreciates dance songs with a lot of bass, especially when running.
I read a lot. I love Harry Potter. Non-fiction, especially histories of very specific topics (Salt. The Emperor of all Maladies. Lost Rights. Provenance). Fiction, all kinds (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close made my heart hurt for weeks). All Little House on the Prairie books.
My favorite colors are green, orange and purple. I love gold accents and fun prints.
Elephants are my favorite animal. I also love orcas, owls, and sea stars.
Fall is the very best season -- the smell, the pumpkin everything, the apples, the sweaters, the fires in the fire place. Literally anything fall is a win.
Impressionism. I love painting, but most especially impressionism.
Nature. I love to hike. I am most at peace in the woods. I know a lot about native plants and their uses.
I love World's Fairs. I love reading about them, I love what they've meant to the host cities, and the cool inventions seen by the public for the first time at the world's fair. It's something I am very into.
