*I apologize profusely for disappearing with overdue swaps. I am trying my hardest to get them out as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.
I am in my 30s, with a husband and a chocolate lab. I love the idea of swaps, and have done a few informal ones through other sites.
I don't post spoilers on my Flickr page, so feel free to take a look. I don't put up pics of swaps until after they are received by their target.
General: I love chocolate, reading, history, architecture, nature, hiking. My main hobbies are boardgames (Euro- games) and photography, especially nature photography.
Allergies: Perfumes and stuff not likely to come up in a swap: apple juice and bean sprouts.
Kane, Carbon Leaf, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Glen Phillips, Jump Little Children, Jay Clifford, Steven Fiore
The Dresden Files, Harry Potter, the Leandros Brother series, Pride and Prejudice, most books by Charles de Lint,
Iron Man, The Mummy, Stardust, The Empire Strikes Back
Supernatural, Fringe, Big Bang Theory, Leverage, NCIS, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Justified, Glee, Psych, Arrested Development
photography, sewing, mixed media, embroidery, ATCs (mine tend to be either watercolor or collage), I'm starting to get into softies and I'm trying to paint more.
Things I'm a sucker for include:
"cute" monsters and critters and creatures, especially those that are a little odd, songbirds (in photography and in decorations), trees and flowers, went to Charleston, SC and fell in love with wrought iron scroll work, stylized clouds, colors, especially greens and blues, blank journals, buttons, steampunk, halloween, advent calendars, comic books (especially Marvel heroes). I collect snow domes (the really cheap looking plastic ones) - the cheesier the better.
Geek stuff: I like Marvel superheroes, Star Wars (original trilogy only), anything Whedon, Legend of Zelda, D&D, general fantasy
smelly things (especially perfumes, floral and vanilla scents), tropical/beach themes, seashells, mass market cute like precious moments or housemouse, bottle caps, tin or other thin metals, religious themes, girlie themes like fashion or makeup.
My main love is batiks, mostly in the green/blue/purple/grey variety, but any are awesome. I also love funky florals, with big print, not so much the Laura Ashley variety. I don't like kid or novelty prints, though I do seem to have a soft spot for fabric with cityscapes on it.
I love getting postcards and magnets from other places (in particular, magnets with real photos, not the cheesy novelty ones), and will happily trade with anyone who wants something from Niagara Falls. Or Buffalo, but that's not as popular...

Thank you sooo much for the beautiful nature altered book pages you made for me--I love both sides! Very cool screening technique on the vintage--looking garden gate image.
Thanks again for a really great swap! Your details on the stuffie were fantastic, and you picked such cute things to send! If you used a pattern from a book or something, I would love to know where it came from so I could try and find a copy if you're willing to share your secrets :D... Thank you, thank you for the super fun package! Γ’β’Β₯
