Random facts about me: I was born in Germany, lived in Virginia for nearly twenty years, and moved here to Northern California about a year ago. I'm planning on starting grad school this fall in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Loves! If it has to do with most anything period, vintage, retro, antique, bet on me liking it. I also adore musicals, film noir, photography, clothes, reading, creative writing, language, birds, collage and ATCs. I love traveling and have been to 12 European countries, 26 American states and 3 Canadian provinces. I adore all kinds of music and I love to sing. I actually enjoy cleaning - it destresses me. I try to recycle everything I can and I love keeping a neat and tidy house. I love the smell of clean laundry. I like natural organic food and products. I'm a big fan of the colors blue, pink, burgundy and black - I just love color really. I'm an absolute tea fiend and I believe that it's worth it to spend good money on very good tea, chocolate and books. I am a devoted fan of Alton Brown, Rachel Ashwell and Sarah Lugg.

For swaps/trades Likes: anything with foreign languages, vintage anything (ephemera, sewing notions, paper, photos, embellishments, etc); rockabilly/retro 40s & 50s things (swallows, cherries, dice, lucky 13, martini glasses, bowling, "atomic/kitsch", etc), anything having to do with birds, butterflies, feathers, girly-girl things, buttons, brads, metal charms, miniatures, beads, ribbons, yarn, the colors blue, white, pink and burgundy (but I am a big fan of color in general!), religious things (I'm very open-minded, so I find a lot of other religious images aesthetically pleasing), tea, chocolate, anything spicy-scented (harvest scents, cinnamon, clove, etc).

Dislikes: lace, doilies, neon/really bright stuff, kawaii/kids craft stuff (I'm not too picky really; I'm with many others ont this - anything that I get that I can't use, I will gladly pass on!) :)
