About Me

Hello - I am married to my husband of 30 years and have 4 married adult children - and 10 grandchildren.

I've been semi-retired for about 12 years now - from the Health Care Industry. I had a heart attack 3 years ago. Big surprise. I was only 52 at the time (55 now) - and it happened while I was driving! Currently - I am enjoying my family and I am an Abstract Artist that loves to paint in my home studio. Its wonderful having this time to create.

Some of my leisure time interests include sewing, cooking, knitting, writing poetry.

I am a coffee addict. I bet I drink 4 cups a day... including right before bed!

I enjoy photography and taking pictures. I am especially drawn to urban decay. I love to find the beauty in the faded and worn. I am naughty at times and go into places I should not go (abandoned buildings, dark - deserted locations) - but I always have someone with me. I search to find something hidden or special there - and try to capture it in a photograph.

Mail art and trades are a lot of fun. It is great getting surprises in the mailbox. It really brightens up my day.
