I'm returning after a five-year hiatus hoping to get back into swapping.

I'm a SAHM of two grown sons and two grandson, as well as assorted furry babies and grandbabies. I also have a DH (since 1980!). I've done homeschooling and Boy Scouts, and I currently volunteer with CASA and Friends of the Library.

My music style is very eclectic. I was raised on "Ring of Fire" and "Hello, Darlin' " and have a true fondness for classic country. And once I started liking Billy Ray, I never really stopped.

My first rock loves were David and Donnie. Elvis was de rigueur in those days, so I know most of his stuff by heart. Other than that, ‘70s jukebox is my style. I have Karen Carpenter on my Pandora channel. And I still stop everything when "At This Moment" comes on the radio.

I’m a hopeless romantic and have been reading Romance novels all my life. I also read a few genuine classics each year. I'm slowly doing the Lifetime Reading Plan. Some of my favorites have been: Wuthering Heights, The Scarlet Letter, Dante’s Inferno, The Book of Ramayana.

I’m currently a Cumberb*tch! Found him on Sherlock and have been following him ever since. I loved The Imitation Game. It was “big screen worthy”-meaning worth paying the big bucks to see super-sized.

I'm not usually into these types of movies, but Robert Downy, Jr. in Iron Man I blew me away. I had not been a fan of his before that but now follow his career.

I’m a big fan of The Good Wife, Chi Fire, Chi PD, Elementary, Hawaii 5-0, Major Crimes, Perception, Razzoli & Isles, Judge Judy, and General Hospital. I've been a Trekkie since my teens. I loved Numb3rs when it was on.

DH still loves Dollhouse for some reason.

I used to cross stitch a lot and hope to get back into it. I now love to collect cross stitch.

I also used to crochet back in the day and may get back into that again. I also like to garden. Or at least to think about gardening.

ATC's are my current obsession, but other paper crafts are gaining ground.

We were big into Scouts. My son started as a Tiger and is now an Eagle Scout. My DH and I each went through Woodbadge (separately). He is a Beaver and I am a Fox.

I joined in February 2009 since I enjoyed postcarding. (I had been doing PostCrossings.com off and on for over a year at the time.) This is such a nice community that I felt encouraged to branch out into other types of swaps. I started doing ATCs and fell in love with this new (to me) art/craft.

I've been away for five years, but kept feeling the pull back.
