I am a 33 year old female that lives in the Pacific NW. I have a background in psychology. I have a Doxie dog named Marley and a kitten named Benny. I enjoy art journaling, scrapbooking, online swaps, concerts, movies and travel. I like modern, surreal, abstract art. I like Picasso, Van Gough, Travis Louie, Kathie Olivas,Yoko dHolbachie, Teesha Moore etc. Graffiti/street art. I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. Im not easily offended and would enjoy getting off the wall, dark, creepy, weird, funny things. Im often shopping and find really neat things but dont buy cause I dont want to offend the person Im sending to. Also swear words and artistic nudity does not bother me.

Im pretty easy and will be happy with basically whatever you send me as long as I can tell there was some thought and effort put into what was sent. Send things you would want to receive yourself. DONT SEND ME A BUNCH OF DOLLAR BIN STUFF! DONT SEND ME A BUNCH OF STUFF FROM YOUR STASH (Im talkin the kind of stuff no one wants)! I dont want dirty wrinkled paper scraps, gross random pictures you have taken, stuff you have used and then torn out of a smash/scrapbook. I dont mind if you send me something from the dollar bin that you really think I would like or something from your stash that you really feel fits me. But not the whole thing unless the swap calls for that. I also dont mind getting stash items if they are sent as extras but not for an entire type 3 swap! I dont think my packages I send are amazing or anything but I do put effort into it and try and buy some nice things I think you will like. Send me two nice things not 15 lame cheap things. I have had people send me not even dollar bin items but more like 10 cent trinkets. Thats really disappointing. Im not that amazing at art either but you can tell when someone has at least tried and not just thrown it together. Sorry, Im not trying to sound mean and really am easy going. I have just had some really bad experiences!

Please try and make sure the appropriate postage is paid on the package also!

A note to penpals. Im not looking for email penpals. I join snail mail swaps cause I like getting stuff in my mailbox. I already know enough people on facebook and what not that I could email all day. Sorry not interested, not my thing. Also I like to get LONG chatty letters. I put effort into writing you a nice letter I would like the same in return. Its hard to keep the momentum of the letters going if you dont ever say much in your letter.

I enjoy most kinds of music. I mostly listen to music like Modest Mouse, Vampire Weekend, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones, Nora Jones, Jack Johnson, Little Dragon, ect. I would say the only kind of music I dont enjoy is country, death metal or industrial music.

Im attempting to tackle books from the 1000 books to read before you die list. Cant say I have gotten very far;)

Anything Tim Burton, Wizard of Oz, Labryinth, Seven, Boogie Nights, The Titanic, Kids, Gummo, Beetle Juice, The Lost Boys, The Sandlot, Napoleon Dynamite. I love horror movies! I also enjoy documentaries.

I love competition reality tv like Project Runway, Design Star, Face Off, Survivor, Big Brother. I like Nip/Tuck, Freaks and Geeks, The Office, Sex in the City, Shameless, Queer as Folk.

I have gotten out of doing much crafting so am not big on craft supplies and odd and ends. I don't have any use for them.
