Great to get swapping — So far my journey with swapping has been fantastic. Here is something about me to get better acquainted.
Before joining Swap-bot, I've been involved with international pen friends for several years and most recently, with postcrossing reaching 100 send postcards. I've saved all letters and postcards sent to me as I semi-collect postcards and stamps. I sometimes do buy used or unused vintage postcards, mostly for their historic value but also as I find vintage stationery charming.
I'm a graphic designer and an illustrator, but am not jammed with a specific style of interpretation. From me, you might get something store bought or illustrated by me. I am a member in a collective of other designers. For this reason, I have a collection of illustration by other illustrators from Finland.
I appreciate all that is current or vintage. I'd characterize myself as a visual person, to whom esthetic is most important - over subject.
I consume culture in various forms. For this reason, there are many categories of swapping of interest to me.
Any subject you send me will be appreciated on it's own, regardless of my own interests.
Pez dispensers (Princesses, The Simpsons)
Canvas tote bags
Postcards (Birds, Figure Skating, Space, National Costumes)
Postage Stamps (Figure Skating, Space, National Costumes)
Honorable swappers from the United States, if possible — can you use the seasonal postage stamps, when sending swaps. I would really appreciate the gesture as I enjoy these stamps.
