I am a married 20-something with no children and 2 annoying dogs. I am chugging along at school working on a Bachelor's and teaching certification. My dream is to teach high school History, and hopefully change children's lives.
As of the mo, I'm unemployed- so here I am, keeping myself busy!
I'm located in sunny Florida! Our seasons include hot, REALLY hot, hot and chilly. But it's nice and the beach is a nice little drive away. I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING.
I am the co-author of the blog Two Girls, One Stamp with the lovely Frogglin. There ARE going to be spoilers there for swaps and cards, so you've been warned! But when you've received your mail, check it out!
I DO post photos of swaps and cards on my Flickr, so be warned for SPOILERS!
I LOVE to crochet! I have an addiction to buying yarn I don't need, and crocheting all night to finish projects BUT I LOVE IT!
I can also cross stitch fairly well, but my brain only likes to craft one thing at a time, so that's been put on hold.
Sewing? Yeah... no. Not so much.
*Anything vintage *Post cards, all sorts. The older the better. *Anything ORANGE. I mean ANYTHING. I LOVE ORANGE! *Owls *Good books, books that have been worn in. *Stationary, Journals, etc. *Nice pens. (See love of stationary) *Mix CDs *Crafting supplies, all sorts!
*Smelly things. I have allergies to smoke, perfumes, and other scented things. *Gross, dirty things. Use your best judgment. *ATCs- while they are nice, they would be much better appreciated in another home *Food items- I'm very picky
In the world of music, Tori Amos is God. I have been a fan since I was 10 years old and have grown with her music as a soundtrack for my life. She is a constant inspiration for me and always be. After that, I do so enjoy all sorts of music including: Bob Dylan, Fiona Apple, Kings of Convenience, The Beatles, Jack Johnson, She Wants Revenge, The Who, Joy Division, They Might Be Giants, The Aquabats... you name it, I can almost guarantee I like it. It's good to be well rounded!
LOST is good stuff, but only because I watched the first 5 seasons on DVD and didn't have to wait for "answers." I LOVE DOCTOR WHO! Love it love it love it! Everything about it! I thank my husband every week that he made me sit down and watch the first 2 episodes... I was hooked immediately. Ghost Hunters, while probably faked and altered, I still LOVE. I also enjoy Project Runway, Tool Academy, Chelsea Lately, The Soup, Intervention, and any gardening/home improvement shows.
*That you should not let others make your decision for you. *In laughing at tragedy. *In ghosts, spirits, and aliens *You can never fall too hard to get back up again *In doing good things for the sake of good things- not because you've been threatened by your god. *In wearing jeans 3 times before you wash them *Making your own fate. *Taking my time *Fairies *YOU!
