I am a single parent of two teenagers and I live in the UK. I love to receive post and I particularly like rustic or quirky things. I have discovered that the thing I look forward to most in swaps in getting a brief note from my partner. If you have a moment I'd love to hear about you or the swap.

I like postcards, but unfortunately not keen on touristy ones. Having spent a while sending swaps and reading other people's profile I have discovered that having a like list seems to help other people so I decided to have a go.

I love stationary particularly unusual notebooks and particularly adore coloured or brown paper rather than standard white. Stripes are also a big favourite as I love patterns. I am learning to organise myself again after a head injury so any organisational stuff that might help you might help me!

Colour wise I like most things, particularly black and white. The only colours I'm not keen on are bright pink and fluorescent colours, but any others are great.

I also love meaningful quotes and so if you are sending me a postcard I would love to hear of a quote or saying that means something to you.

Dislikes

Not a lot really but please don't send any types of tea or coffee even if swaps say to as I don't drink it and neither does anyone in our house. We do however like hot chocolate. Not keen on touristy postcards.

More to the point suprise me. Have a go at trying something you've always wanted to, don't worry about it just go for the wierd and wonderful. I love it!

I like an eclectic selection of music but my favourite is classical music particularly baroque.

I love to read and one of my favourite books was the Time Travellers Wife. I also enjoy books about psychology and how the mind works. Saying that a trashy novel with a happy ending is great.

I don't watch a great deal of tv, but when I do I lie to relax with a series that follows a nice pattern in its episodes so my brain can switch off completely. Favourites are Bones and House.

I am really fascinated with craft stuff but rarely manage to actually do much as I tend to get too hung up over the end result. I am particularly interested in
