I live in England.

My favourite colours are orange and purple.

I love all the retro things from my childhood, Pigeon Street, Henry's Cat, Duckula, Willo the Wisp, King Rollo.

I love Sharpies (any colour but especially purple and orange), and also pretty much anykind of stationery including unusual post it notes (if anyone has any of the Big Rub Erasers - big bright coloured erasers with a white strip through the middle from the late 70s early 80s I would love one)

I adore the art of Keith Haring and Beryl Cook.

I also adore Nightmare before Christmas, Strawberry Shortcake, Snoopy, Get Along Gang and cabbage patch kids, the original Hero Turtles.

I am a child at heart. I love the Monchhichi/Chicaboo bears.

I have a new passion for the New Orleans Saints.

For music I love Girlyman, Erika Luckett, Kym Tuvim, Julie Wolf, Zoe Lewis, Alison Moyet, Darren Hayes, Bruces Cockburn and Springsteen, Mediaeval Baebes, Dar Williams, Indigo Girls and I also have had a rekindling of my childhood passion for NKOTB

My favourite pasttime (apart from sleeping) is reading, I love Patricia Cornwell, Joanne Fluke, Susanna Gregory, Stephen Fry, the original Munch Bunch, and anything mediaeval, crime or cookery related. I also love the work of Raymond Briggs, especially The Snowman. Randy Shilts is a great writer. Other favourite authors include Greg Herren, Sparkle Hayter, David Stukas, Sandra Scoppettone, Ellen Hart, Karin Slaughter, Erica Spindler, JoAnna Carl, Sandi Toksvig, Victoria Laurie, Shirley Damsgaard and Val McDermid.

I love the new wave of crime books where they are centred round things like scrapbooking, libraries, psychics, forensic handwriting experts, that sort of thing.

I joined Bookmooch a few months back and adore it.

I can't get enough of Dawn French and Stephen Fry on television in anything they do, as well as Monk, Rosemary & Thyme, QI, Xena:Warrior Princess, Being Human, Charmed, and Bones. Also love my childhood favorites Pigeon Street, The Raccoons, Cagney & Lacey, Kate & Allie, Golden Girls, Murder She Wrote, Jonathan Creek.

I love comedies, I think French & Saunders, Lisa Koch, Catherine Tate, Mel & Sue, Kathy & Mo are hilarious. Alan Carr is a comedy god as is Russell Howard.

My favourite movies include Fargo, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fried Green Tomatoes, D.E.B.S., Sweeney Todd and actually anything with Johnny Depp or John Cusack in it. I also will watch anything with either of the Wahlberg brothers in it. I think Finding Nemo is hilarious (Ellen Degeneres was perfect in it) I can't wait to see Coraline which has the voices of two of my favourite funny ladies ever in it - French and Saunders

I hate flowery stuff, most disney stuff (NBC and Mulan excepted) I don't like. I detest Hello Kitty. I am not a big fan of pink. I find organised Religion and fanatical religious people (though I am oddly obsessed with books about mediaeval Monks in them) just plain scary..

I hate the smells of vanilla and coconut.

I am pretty new to this place so will endeavour to do some good swaps but my crafting skills are basic at most. I have only just started scrapbooking stuff, I have no idea what dotees or ATCs are. I do regift. I also send items in recycled packaging as I hate waste and try to re-use or re-cycle nearly everything that comes into my possession..

I love Black Jacks, Black Jack gum, butterscotch, caramel, toffee, the New Zealand Dairy Milk Dessert range - Black Forest Gateau, Rocky Road and Choc Fudge Brownie especially, I adore grape Jolly Ranchers (both the sweets and the lollies), I love Oreo granola bars (do they still do those? - I last had one 10 years ago), I love Ruffles (alas cannot get those here) and the N'awlins voodoo chips. I heart Jolt Cola and grape soda. I like Reese's Pieces, peanut butter M&Ms (peanut butter anything really, especially skippy). I love cinnamon. Odd varieties of Pop Tarts are welcome. Anything that comes in a cute little tin - recent examples I have seen like the Care Bear, Family Guy and Bacon mints. Other things I like are Star Bars, Aeros, Drifters (so glad they brought those back), Maltesers and bueno mini eggs. I love dried raspberries. I love trying new flavours and versions of things. I love trying new cereals I love curry and cajun food. I love receiving food from the US, Canada, NZ and Australia. I love Ranch dressing

I like trying new teas but am not the biggest fan of green tea, Mate and black tea. Not the biggest fan of anything cherry flavoured. Not the hugest fan of Hershey's except for their cookies and creme which is delicious. .

I love growing vegetables, composting, scouring car boot sales and charity shops for stuff I like. I love anything about New Orleans. I am up for private swaps though mainly for things like magazines, stationery and candy/foodstuffs, my crafty skills are too basic for swaps where you want a tricky handmade craft object. My aim is to learn how to sew, knit, crochet and quilt, but that is a way off yet.

My parcels/mailings will be coming from England so please give time for them to come through the mail system. Due to the high volume of mail that goes missing from the mail system each year do message me first if you have not received your item, I can usually resend.
