Hello! I'm Kestrel. Yes that's my true birth name and I have lived in the Midwest US my entire life, save for a brief couple of years in TN. I love the mountains and the ocean, I feel at home there and hope to move back at some point in my life.

I graduated from college a few years ago, took a call center job to pay the bills, got married to my lovely wife, adopted 3 fantastic bunnies and am currently looking into continuing my education in order to get a degree in Elementary Education. I hope to work with students in about grades 3/4 - 8 at some point in my life.

My hobbies include knitting, basic sewing, letter writing, mail art and reading. I will knit just about anything BUT scarves. I love things in miniature and cutesy things. I am a HUGE fan of vintage stationery as well as odd stationery, Kawaii papers and aerograms. I also adore Koren diary/planners and all the sticker, stamps, ect to use along with them. I have several pen pals currently, but am happy to accept more if you think we would get along and enjoy corresponding and becoming friends.

My favorite books are the Harry Potter Series, the Hunger Games Trilogy, the Looking Glass Wars Trilogy, The Thief of Always and Alice In Wonderland. I love things that come in threes. I will try reading just about anything. I also love biographies, social commentaries and of course knitting books.

Currently, I am trying to get through a lot of the extra clutter in my space and craft room and get back to the basics a bit more. Preparing for a possible move and also just trying to keep myself limited so there is still workspace left after everything has been crammed into my craft space. :) So, I won't be upset if something doesn't include a lot of extras.

Anything My Melody or Hello Kitty related. Sticker Flakes. Koren Planner/Diaries and the stickers, stamps, ect that go along with them. Awesome pens. Colored pencil art work. Rabbits! Mail Art. Stationery and Handmade Envelopes. Mail Art. Harry Potter themed goodies. Knitting Project Bags. Interesting and fun purses/bags. Handmade goodies. Interesting earrings and necklaces. Reducing, reusing, and recycling. Make believe and creativity.

Anything having to do with snakes. Seriously irrational fear and I have nightmares. Soaps, lotions, ect. We're a bit sensitive to that stuff around here and really, it's just better to request you don't include it. Confetti or small bits of things that fall out of a package when opened. The furry babies like to try to eat just about anything that hits the floor and these things can potentially hurt them which makes the world sad.
