I'm 32 and I live in Kansas. I'm a teacher, but right now I am a SAHM. I enjoy collecting postcards, photography, crafting, dancing, swimming, genealogy, and my poodle, Ginger.

I've collected postcards since I was about 8 years old. I belong to Postcrossing, and have found that I would like to send way more. Nothing thrills me more than sending and receiving unique postcards!

I enjoy postcards that are interesting, non-touristy, vintage or vintage-looking, iconic, and beautiful. I like the PC's that are normal-sized, so they will fit in my album, but I won't turn any PC's down! I devote a large portion of my blog to my postcard collection, so come check it out! PC's I don't like are the normal touristy ones that could be taken in any city. Example: the name "Chicago" in blue and pink lights. Yawn. I also love bizarre and weird looking pc's.

I'm a member over at postcrossing.com and I love to receive international as well as domestic PC's. The postage, the journey, the handwriting, the addresses; all things that make postcard swapping unique and a joy.

I love to craft. I love to peruse the craft magazines and blogs and complete my very own copy. But I'm broke (see my blog), so I ESPECIALLY love crafts I can make with stuff I already have laying around the house (i.e. free)!

I'm creative. I love to sew, draw, paint, glue, decopage, cross stitch, quilt, etc. etc., as long as I can do it on the cheap. And right now, as I'm thinking of moving, I'm REALLY into stash-busting. I have a whole craft room of stuff I'm saving for the time when I need it, and that time is now!
