I'm retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service, and currently a contractor for the government. I started out paper crafting and swapping monthly theme cards, as well as holiday cards, and now recipe cards... always looking for new ideas and ways to share crafting ideas with folks.... and I'm a swap nut, I do swap on three other boards and just love gettting things in the mail other than the monthly bills to pay....

Note: I have come back from my vacation and ready to start swapping again....

I mainly listen to country music, but also love to sit on the beach and hear some Jazz from time to time. I love everything/anything on American Idol, I love to hear the talent that folks has on there.

I'm not much of a reader when it comes to novels since there is not much time in my day, but I do enjoy reading cookbooks, magazines.. (country sampler, southern living, Better Homes and gardens)

Working the grave yard shift I don't get to the movies that much but when I do I love chick flick movies....

TV shows that catch my attention is: AMERICAN IDOL

Cold Case

I started out just making cards and paper ornies and now it's a little more of this-n-that's and how to recycle things mostly old broken furniture- bottle caps, fabric, wine corks. I love the altering art projects.

I love to cook! I am always looking for new, different recipes to try, but true and tried recipes are the best. I enjoy going out every Friday to dinner I think I would be a good host for Dives and Dinners that would be so much fun... (LOL).

My favorite color is RED... but I also love neutral colors(browns, greens, blues) just no pastels or neon colors...

I love to receive anything hand crafted/homemade

I love collecting roosters and snowmen, anything vintage/antique especially linens (table runners, dollies) and handichefs. Old and new cookbooks.

WISHLIST:

II don't like: tatoos, skulls and anything like heavy metal stuff. I really dislike child-like and school reward stickers. since I have no children at home. I don't like torn or dirty items of any kind.. I don't like to receive anything that is trash can material. in other words if it's not something you would use due to it's condition then I would have no use for it either....

I love spending time outdoors, canoeing, boating, swimming, visiting historical sites, and love to watch and attend Nascar Racing Events: I go to Talladega twice a year and have been to Atlanta and Daytona tracks, my favorite driver is Kasey Kahne..

I love Roosters and antiques! Norman Rockwell plates, and coke cola items, and anything that someone makes is a treasure forever for me.. also love when folks use there imagation on making things that are unique...

I love going to thift shop and finding old items and turn them into new things...
