Definately depends on my mood...some bands I like are:
The Avett Brothers The Black Keys Slow Runner The Decemberists Desmond Dekker Neil Young
Have tons of art books, my favorite fiction writers are Chuck Palahniuk, David Sedaris, and George Orwell.
I love quirky independent films, foreign films and documentaries.
Lost was the greatest show, not much else to watch really..... although I've become a little addicted to those trashy Real Housewives shows on Bravo.
I like painting, sculpture, decorating, graphic design, and everything in between.
My favorite crafts are jewelry making, painting furniture, boxes and wood sculptures, collage, pottery/clay sculpture and card making.
Lately, I've been busy with designing logos and stationery for friends and relatives, so I love stock photos and clip art or any interesting images from old magazines or newspapers.
I'm starting to love henna and indigo tattoos. I've been studying the designs and practicing, but just on paper.
I work in the printing industry and do some graphic design. I have an obsession with speciality grocery stores that have international products. The items are so foreign and the packaging is always cool!
I also like browsing thrift stores and flea markets, they're full of interesting random items. I like to imagine who might have owned them and why they gave their stuff away. I usually come away with 60's vintage items or unique trinkets people got on vacation some place.
I am married and I have two cats. I was a dog person, but got my first cat, Rajan, because we lived in an apartment and now I'm hooked. We just got our second cat, Nisha, a month ago, she's crazy but sweet.
'm currently spending most of my time decorating my new house! I'm using lots of bright colors, mainly blues, yellows, and greens. I've got a cool mixture of Indian and Moroccan lamps and fabrics.
Interesting items from other countries, especially the Middle East and Asia.
Anything with bright colors, but simple in design.
I like stuff from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's.
I like abstract or geometric designs.
I prefer silver to gold.
I like inexpensive funky jewelry; glass, plastic or metal.
I don't like things that are super frilly/feminine.
I will take my PC swaps any way, either naked in an envelope or written and mailed.
